No it's not so bad, they played music but I don't know how many people live in the immediate vicinity/how far sound travels. All of which can be mitigated with the best version of everything technologically.
Anyway I went there with some Italians recently. The students, well early twenties or younger looking people, at Bobo Lobo were let in before us, well they skipped the queue. I jokingly called them Karen, which in my vocab is code for "Cossacks."
9 grand a year to study mostly online until things change, pretty disgraceful but I think the powers that be/do want people to blame academics/academia and intellectualism generally. At the same time, specialism aside it's a good idea for all people to be as literate and able minded as possible.
I think the main issue in society is the ideological vs the practical, what you believe to be morally right vs your proximity to making that happen/living amongst the even unintended consequences in a practical and political sense and who might have to do that in your place, and why, and what that could mean for you if eventually 'they' come knocking at your door too.
Job/life satisfaction is also important ofc.
Maybe this is a war against the needy or overly social, or in favour of. For me it's best to appreciate people in a closed off way, I'm still a scrounge though.....
