And even if the police had a copy, what does it prove, just because they took part in some sort of orgy, it might make there morals somewhat dubious, but you couldn't charge them with murder, bit of a severe step up that I'd say

Personally I am looking at the possible effects that this alledged dvd had on the case and reasons why the NH crowd closed down on police questioning. As you suggest just because they have appeared in such a dvd they may not have had anything to do with her disappearance and thats the point Im making. But I think the NH crowd probably felt differently.
If CL had become unhappy with one of the men in the dvd she may have mailed them a copy.
It may be that Claudia did not mail the dvd to the man, it has been said that the wife found the alledged dvd on the back seat of the car so by whatever means it found its way into the mans possession
I will add that I was also interested in wether her alledged policeman boyfriend was on the dvd as I am always coming back to why a group of people at the NH were said to be involved in criminal activities but none appeared to have been charged with anything within a 11 year period. Did they have a contact in high places. Was this policeman not just turning a blind eye to what was going on, and do the NH crowd feel they are taking a lot of the heat because they dont want to talk about his involvement.
Could the stalling of the second investigation uncovered such an involvement
The police have said that CL's life was complex and mysterious. I feel it was and I think there are certainly different compartments to her life and if you group these different compartments together then its a complete mind fog, but seperating them I feel you can look with more clarity at the case and doing this its possible you will uncover that one small piece of evidence that will solve this case

Its a material piece of evidence that the man could not deny..
You ask a person if they have been cheating and they say NO im not.. so you believe him or not
You show a person a dvd with them on it cheating .. they dont have much defence do they?

IF the DVD exists and IF CL is seen unmasked and IF men are seen masked somehow, then it would be easy to think of an unwillingly taken film shooting by "shy" Claudia, that means perhaps: she was "date rape" drugged purposely, maybe in the NH, maybe in a hotel room. IF CL had considered to go to police, the whole rabble would have had a problem, maybe. From there to let one disappear or do to her some (fatal) suffering, there wouldn't be a long way. MOO and only my thoughts atm.

Didn't it have been the son of the woman, who found the DVD in his father's car? One more, who could have known of it and would have been on the side of his mother probably.

it was said that Claudia would often go off at night after a few drinks at the Nags on her own and with some of male locals. was this for a filming session and was some of the complexity in her life that the DVD's were a money stream.
It was said that the men wore masks.
And was there another female in the DVD-The one who referred to Claudia as "My Claudette?"

Andy do you think its a possiblity that the dvd was mailed to a male that appeared on the alledged dvd and the wife found it accidentally. A woman would not be being dense by holding on it but could merely use it as proof of a cheating husband if family or friends found it difficult to believe of the man

No the story of the dvd ( if true ) happened about 18 months before cl disappeared

Its possible and of course if posted 1st Class and before the the last post of the day it could well have been delivered next day but I dont see that particular posting fitting in with her going missing the next day as its unlikely to have arrived at its destination before she left for work.
It is also possible she made a call from the public phone box warning the male that she had posted it. If he had prior knowledge of it being posted I think its not unreasonable to think he was not happy about this, he could well have decided to intercept her journey to work to confront her about it, she woulld not hesitate about getting in his car as she knew him, he could well be the man sited arguing with a woman on the side of the road.

If someone decided to take that one dvd and make more copies its very likely it was going to cause trouble at some stage.

She said the police came to see her about 3 weeks after CL disappearance, she said I told them everything ive got nothing to hide.

Could be wrong but way I read the link for the DVD speculation was it was alleged to be made quite a while before she went missing.

Edit: Also could be wrong again but wasn't the "source" for said DVD was a journalist who claimed they worked on the case so could've been a tip off.

10 men! Im shocked oh God her poor parents I feel so sorry for them .
I had read a post on Medium from someone who had worked previously as a barmaid at the NH. I found her posting to be a non sensational and honest account of her time spent at the NG she mentioned some of the patrons had made comedic style references of a dvd with wry smiles this peaked my interest.
although she mentioned a post on Reddit she said she wasnt sure of the authenticity of its content.
Not being a member of Reddit I havent seen this before so its good to get the chance to see and read it here, do you know if there is more said about about the dvd from this poster or others? personally I thought maybe the dvds contents were more along the lines of a dunken CL and a few men exposing themselves.
Was the dvd a one off or if she was a willing participant did she appear in more.
BH said in her Daily Mail interview she found out about the her husbands affair in January and CL disappears in March. CL was said to have been staying away from the NGs for some days before her disappearanc we also know JK had had some problems and she was helping her with those. I think tensions were rising at the NH with BH finding of the dvd and JK was finding hereself in the middle with her friend on one side and a strong socially aggressive partner and his friends on the other
