Firstly I have made reference to who I Think the Tang Hall man was on the thread before and gave my reasons.
I passed this to the Cold Case team some weeks ago they are in contact me. At this stage I am only looking to try and identify Tang Hall man.
Obviously since then I have been trying to choose my words carefully on the forum but a decision about identity from the Cold Case is paramount and where I was hoping I would have had that eitherway by now the fact that there has been a recent murder in York has held thing up which is understandable.
No doubt the Corona Virus situation has also had effect.
While a little fustrating in waiting for that decision I continue to work on researching any details personal and other in relation to this individual and anyone connected to him/college.

As I said before I drew attention to the man standing beside the truck because I noted they clothing resembled similar to that of Tang Hall man and worth noting nothing more at this stage.
I am also interested in one other person in that group.

Clearly there will be a lot to discuss and share here and I am happy to do that for anyone interested and I understand that if the person I think is Tang Hall man could be extremely important to the case. but I repeat I am still waiting on a decision from Cold Case regarding confirmation of identity.

My team have lots on tape, cold case conversations and also one of a "criminologist" who initially said they were involved in the Claudia case and gave finite details of how Claudia came to her end in the Nags Car Park. Unfortunately, both the cold case team and the criminologist retracted and backtracked / changed their stories.
I know many in WS defend police withholding of evidence but I have experience first hand where it is more than this.
It turned out that the criminologist who then had their own FB group had more theories than hot dinners. Again like Tang Hall man we put this down to massive attention seeking.

Strange he went in there for a paper ? And never went there again ?? Why ?

You can't possibly know that can you? He may have been in before or after and served by different people. Could have been a visitor to the area and been in shop months before when cctv footage was not kept.
Police will have examined footage but they will only have gone back and forward a week or two on either side.
There are many shops that I ha e only ever been in once.
In my local village there is a convenience shop that I have visited once in 3 months.

He said he knew her-Now working at York Uni would have brought her in contact with many people. Likely a discussion a she was buying his paper-Headlines about Ckaudia, happens every day. Customer chats to newsagent about story in media.
There are many in this case who would say the knew her or would have liked to-unlikely they killed her though-This was a planned operation and not a lone wolf.

When investigating a case I would look for possible links to people.
Ok so IF Tang Hall Man is Mark Anthony Ford Thompson he did have links to the college his wife Adriana was a York University lecturer he had various jobs one of which was a painter and decorator (he had painted some of the uni student accom) also worth noting that he had worked as a 'waiter'. He was into boxing and marital arts and gave private martial arts and self defense lessons ( kilamanjaoro ) he also appeared in martial arts videos on Youtube under the name Black Dragon and Black dragon Heart General which featured a fellow student at York Uni Sam Herbertson and another man who appeared on tham as Jay Blue or Rock Star Warlord which they performed on banks of the River Ouse (Rowntree Park)

@Yozzer May be able to confirm but I recall aTang Hall man was identified in some way. Unfortunately NYP website is not always as up to date as we are on here.

I can confirm Cold Case Team checked and confirmed Tang Hall Man had not been identified.
As I said I have been in contact with them they have advised me that they believe the lead is worth pursuing and they will keep me updated. Which todate they have

I did take up the subject of the updating of the website. I understand it is not the Cold Case team that directly deals with this

Like I say again at this stage I AM JUST LOOKING AT TRYING TO IDENTIFY Tang Hall Man. I believe there are certain things about him that could be identifiable and I believe I can see these characteristics in the person I believe it to be.

If the police say its not the person I believe it to be then so beit.. But they believe its worth pursuing so lets just wait and see.
As soon as I have a reply I will let you know. Its only then we can either move on with it or put it aside. If they have checked the things I have asked about and its not him I will accept it. Ive got no problem with that.

Did he work at The Monkhouse pub in York ? Because Claudia worked there too for awhile it’s in Gone .

Im continuing looking at cctv footage and as usual found some interesting activity around the bus cam footage .. I cant understand why the police havent focused on it more..
Because of the speed of the bus poor light and bus windsreen its not easy to get clear images..
Clearly there was a group around the truck 2 I find interested but after multiple attempts I think Ive found something quite interesting.
Look very closely because I am sure that I could see 2 people in Claudias doorway,and when I zoomed in my opinion I can see the door is open and a woman with long hair wearing a white Tshirt stood in the doorway and another person possiblya woman wearing a light coloured top garment.
If this is Claudia and the the bus passed at approx 9.01pm then the reason she didnt reply to SS text was because she had a visitor!.
Ive attached the still its not brilliant but download load it and then zoom in slowly.. as always you will have to give your eyes time to focus.

If you look to the right of your arrows, the triangular shape of the porch above her door can be made out. Therefore I think the arrows point to the end of her courtyard/garden where it adjoins the property next door. There is a white electric meter attached to the wall of 46 (see google maps) at this point.
I am very interested in the timing of this vehicle's appearance and the one parked in front of it. It was a busy night in Heworth Road at 9pm.

But if this was Ford then he was in the same spot as those in suspect at 9 pm so unlikely they were calling for Claudia to go to church- Not even midnight mass.
