Seems odd to buy such a large order just for himself... also, the clubs etc close at 3.00am I think? Was that what he was waiting for? But the food would have been cold by then... puzzled!

I think it's simpler than we think. I think we're making it far too difficult. I think he bought food for two. The extra burger was for a friend who he thought he was meeting at 0130 but didn't turn up until 0330 onwards. I'd have ate it by 0140 if my 'guest' hadn't arrived. Toss up between wasting food or it going cold. Waste not want not.

Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not casting aspersions towards anyone but there does seem to be quite a few pauses, ers, urms and ums coming from the press footage. Have another look and see what you think.
I think we're being told only a fraction of what we need to know hence ten threads in and no satisfactory conclusion. We'll work it out eventually though no doubt.

His brother Darroch during the Sky News interview broadcast on 19th Oct in answer to a question about whether Corrie had walked back to camp before (and I'm paraphrasing) said that Corrie had at least started the walk back to camp on previous occasions (approx 2.40 in). Presumably someone known or not on these previous occasions had stopped to give him a lift.

I'm not so convinced he was meeting someone, the more I look at the footage, the more confused I am lol.
He's walking very close to the buildings on the left, bumbling along. It looks like someone calls him, gets his attention, he then looks left and right as he bumbles over, as you would, a bit twitchy as it's a stranger calling you over.
Not sure what's happened next.....

You may have just inadvertently contradicted your own question eeejay.
What if the person he was meeting, was the person who you think called him over...a bit twitchy...as if it's a stranger calling him over? :)

could have slept a bit, got up to walk to his car and got called over yes, it's another theory I guess

Agreed. I'm pretty sure Corrie was no the happy go lucky person he's made out to be 100%

Sometimes this leads to making bad decisions. Whether trusting the wrong person or just doing something plain stupid.

that says to me that they have no new Leads on areas to search as if they did they would not be waiting a month to search!
 
I think Corrie was doing what he always did on his weekends off and he had an arranged meet with someone he knew. He got asked to leave Flex early ( timeline has incorrect time of 00.40 Nicola said just after 01.00 and doorman said 0120 so between this maybe 01.10? So off to get grub. Takeaway guy said he came in every two weeks. He refused a lift and headed off. Some food he gave to the homeless guy. He turns of to hughes specifically and this is not in the direction of his car so I believe he settles down in the doorway due to free wifi close by at the Grapes. Falls asleep due to surfeit of drink and grub probably around 01.45 ? Wakes up on receiving photo and forwards it on. Is in no hurry to go to his meet as he still has 20 mins to wait. Dozes or surfs net till 0320 or so and sets off to meet lift. When he arrives he sees lift is there and goes to meey up. The vehicle leaves immediately at 3.26 so is not seen by cameras or any one at all. Straight up SB. Corrie spends his weekend with this person and is either still with them or has had a big bust up and come to harm. Phone is gone out of area with corrie and does one glancing ping before leaving area completely.

There are drone searches being carried out between now and then, that is just the next public involved search.
