There was also one that said Corrie was a pilot, that happens a lot when you mention the RAF. Maybe the confusion was because the RAF Police HQ is also at Honington. Or just the media being rubbish.

The media being rubbish is a hinderance here on WS, as we can only rely on MSM it gets very confusing when they make mistakes or update stories as new info comes out as time goes on.

I've followed cases before where insistence that somethng is correct just because it was in MSM many months before has been very frustrating, standards of journalism aren't as high as they used to be

Hey SuzyJackson my daughter works with homeless she is an outreach worker so can give a little in sight hun a lot do have drink, drug problems causing major mental health problems which goes in a a nasty circle hand in hand but some actually choose to stay on the streets especially those that have been doing it such a long while we have a few in Hull they would rather sleep rough then go in an hostel were more problems can happen one guy just felt he didn't fit in anymore. But you are right I bet the have looked at the credible facts of this guy to see if they can take him seriously or not x

Welcome Dimps thanks for your post always good to here from Ex military Nicole reports that C dog was trained to be Quite then normal dogs but my sons best friend is Raf and even though hes not based were C was the only reason there allowed pets on base is if there struggling and they would have had to been there awhile aswell but Nicole also confirmed C wasn't ment to have the dog there Ive been here a bit now and still get in trouble so don't worry still learning all the time but some great people who will help you so your in good hands :) x

IMO Nicola saying the dog was trained to be quiet is trying to minimise the seriousness of the situation of having a dog against the rules. How possible is it that a 7mth old puppy could have been reliably trained not to bark (rhetorical question)

I think the dog was young, it had a quiet bark, it was in the bathroom tucked away and maybe just isn't a big barker. I'd be really interested to hear first hind from anyone else living at honington about the attitude to dogs, I wonder if it was simply a case of blind eyes being turned

I am actually wondering how skint Corrie was I mean his birthday was weekend before he went missing and as we all know he comes from a split family and with him not being a young child the likelihood of him getting cash as a gift is a strong one. My son if he weren't home for his birthday he use to get us to open his cards lol and if they had cash in he would ask us to transfer it to his account lol so he could go out on the weekend

At the beginning of their investigation they are probably quite rightly imo going back to basics and not ruling anything out.

With regard to tracking down other phones pinging the mast/s at similar times/locations, could they be trying to flush someone out- the 'innocent' driver in one of my posts above for instance?

Just my thoughts

Flushing someone out could definitely make sense, it could be the trigger someone needs to come forward if they've been keeping quiet so far

SuzyJackson I have to tend to agree with you on that one puppies thrive for attention and are a little mischievous to but we only have N word for that and no proof of any other hun sadly.

Has it been considered that perhaps in the footage of C entering the horseshoe, that someone shouted him over, and the pause as he looks down the road is C wondering if they're shouting him? His demeanour seems to change slightly, and I don't think he intended to go in there. Something drew him there. x

All true. Having got a new puppy last year it's really quite difficult to hide a puppy also. toilet training, tendency to need to go several times a day, whining for sure in the transition stage after coming from the mother. Many pups may not bark in early months but they will still whine.
It is all most bizarre but I agree with Suzy that some minimising has possibly gone on here but..... we'll never pin it down.

Yes, it's been discussed but like everything else I don't think we reached a definitive conclusion

Possibly. During the second CCTV pod viewings there was talk of 4 minute man that seems to be forgotten. If he was called into the horseshoe then this person must have seen him and possibly talked to him?

Interesting. That makes me think that they believe someone went with C and his phone, towards BM that morning. I do wonder how long it will take them to find other phones that had the same pings, as he mentioned. I thought you'd have to have the phone numbers first, but perhaps mobile networks can just do a simple search which will throw up which users pinged which masts, at which times. xx
VERY GOOD INDEED

I would guess that they could do this within a matter of minutes, but are prevented by data protection laws from doing anything with the information.
Doubt that would stop them though

BIB ( bit in bold above) I saw that post in the last thread. Is it a definite? Apols if you pre-discussed this weeks ago but I haven't seen much focus on that and I have read thousands of old posts.

No, it's an error in the MSM article.

I have used that same article for the opening post since thread #2 and never noticed the mistake. Since it was pointed out yesterday, I corrected it in the opening post of this new thread from policeman to [service]man, as I'm assuming that's what they meant.

Greater than if you got to ask N a question and got a reply to that question are you allowed to say what it was on here please or is it not allowed please

Sorry this is my 1st post and my 2 cents, from what ive gathered the clue lies with his fone and the garbage truck, indicating it was on the truck via the rubbish bins on the horse shoe

I thought it may be a good time to post this, a description of the training you go through in order to become an RAF gunner. Taken from the official RAF website here: http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafregiment/careers/gunners.cfm

Training
[h=4]Recruit Training[/h]Your career will start with a 10-week Basic Recruit Training Course at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire. The course is designed to help you adjust to a military environment, as well as develop fitness and military skills. You will also learn about life in the RAF. This is referred to as Phase 1 Training.
[h=4]Specialist Training[/h]Upon successful completion of Phase1 you will move to RAF Honington, Suffolk. Here you will complete your specialist Gunner training course (Phase 2) which will last for approximately 18 weeks. You will be taught how to handle and use weapons in a professional manner and learn how to survive and fight in all environmental conditions. The course includes navigation, dismounted close combat tactics, field craft and physical training. RAF Regiment training is a test of character, determination and your will to succeed. By the end of the course you will be at peak physical fitness and havelearnt to operate effectively regardless of the environment. In order to giveyou the confidence to overcome any situation you may encounter whilst onoperations, the training is deliberately tough. You will be enrolled onto aNational Level apprenticeship, gaining an NVQ Level 2 in Public Services Operational Delivery (Uniform). Prior to starting your first squadron tour youwill spend a further 10 weeks learning additional skills which make yourtransition to squadron life easier, e.g. Driver Training, advance weapon skilland tactics.
