Where is the source for Corrie buying a kebab, chips and two burgers?

Anyone else think that's a lot of food for just one person?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We've discussed this on previous threads, regardless of what anyone thinks of the quantity of food it's pretty clear that what he bought..

From fidcorrie.co.uk "Corrie had sat down to eat a lot of food (2 burgers, a kebab and chips) he works hard, plays hard and fell asleep. It does not look like it was planned. On occasion this has happened in the past."

I just don't buy binning it because it's broken. These days phones have more than phone contacts and texts on them. They have bank details, photos, emails, auto fill etc. If he binned it, in my opinion it would e deliberately to leave without being traced (I would say awol or intending to commit suicide personally) You've done great on the links! Daughter goes to bed in an hour so I'll grab the tablet and help then!
I don't think you can rule anything out though. No I wouldn't bin a phone either but then I wouldn't sleep in a shop door way. Its not an expensive phone he could have this one because he goes through them so fast its not worth splashing out on an IPhone and he was drunk and probably not thinking things through. They ruled out him riding on the bin truck because they can see it leaving on CCTV if I remember correctly.

Hi, I've read this forum for many years but never registered until now.

My thought is this (and forgive me if this has already been mentioned early on).

What if Corrie hitched a lift on the back of the bin lorry without being seen by the driver and then jumped off somewhere along the route when it slowed?. Where I am, you often see the workers riding on the back of a little ledge and jumping off to grab the bins. If he was on there, there's also a possibility that he could have accidentally dropped his phone into the waste area (depending on the design of the wagon) which could explain how his phone pinged where it did but without him being there.

nicola has said many times he wasn't on the back of the lorry, I can only assume it's determined by cctv. Plus it would mean around an hours wait in the horseshoe where no one appears to have seen him.

I don't have a source that I could link to, I know she has written it. It may be on the website or perhaps a tv interview somewhere.

Just to throw something random out there. What if the phone being in the bin is a coincidence and he actually put it in there himself. Some time between 3.08 and 3.24 he drops his phone, It no longer works, doesn't mean its not running in the background but he can't call anyone or write a text hence no further contact after 3.08 he gets to the horseshoe and its the bins he spots when he turns and wanders over to the area and he chucks his phone in the bin. He then waits on the steps for his pre-arranged lift or something happens with someone already there.

I do think he could have thrown the phone away himself but unless he was planning on going AWOL I think there's a possibility that if it was broken he'd still take it home to take out the sim card and back up anything he needed on the phone, photos etc.

But also willing to accept that a young lad may have a throw away attitude and not care about the hassle of getting all his contacts and data onto a new phone and just think, oh well, I'll buy a new one tomorrrow

On the Forces News Special (7/12) it says
'immediately before meeting up with his friends he spends 40 mins talking to his brother' (doesn't mention drinking though or time)
also that he is picked up by CCTV at 1.20 on Brentgoval St eating food
http://forces.tv/60192868

on live interview with Nicola on 8/12 https://www.facebook.com/ForcesTV/videos/1447132871978378/

she says that at 3.08 Corrie replies to a message on his phone and 15 mins later he gets up and moves

Good sleuthing, I'm catching up and was going to post to say that I've never used a household wast site that was also used for commercial collections. I haven't lived in the BSE area but in several others and tips are always strictly for the general public

I think it's quite common generally, though it is restricted to small local businesses. Think about a self-employed painter and decorator disposing of old wallpaper, or a self-employed gardener disposing of prunings from hedges and trees or pieces of old fence.

I don't think you can rule anything out though. No I wouldn't bin a phone either but then I wouldn't sleep in a shop door way. I guess we'll have to disagree. I just think it would be highly unlikely.

Just catching up. Someone asked about where the bin lorry did its pickup in Mildenhall. I don't know but I do wonder if in the Forces TV special there was a clue by filming outside Sainsbury's?

Also I'll look for a link but it is interesting that MelmothTheLost got that response about the HWRC. I found the below link that states the HWRC had a very recent overhaul that started the 19th of September and it also tells us that FCC Environment are the site operators.

There's only one way to sort this out, one of local posters needs to follow the bin lorry round its round one night starting at the horseshoe, who has a dashcam?

I have one but I don't think it would be wise to stalk a bin lorry at 4 in the morning......

Can you add in the police information? For example that after phone data analysis, they put Corrie/his phone in Mildenhall from 4.30-8am? I would say that's a pretty important fact.
There need to be police facts in there too otherwise the differences between the family & police information won't be evident...if that makes sense?

We do know this. I specifically asked if the site was open outside of the published hours and I was told no. The hours are 9 - 5 in summer and 9 - 4 in winter.

The only people permitted to use the site are local householders, and some very small local businesses providing they have the requisite permit from the county council.

I did understand your useful post \Melmoth.
I am actually querying if this 'upgraded' site would have different opening hours - otherwise I don't think we can be confident this site was used. My query was to TTWO, not you.

Do all the old family updates still exist? Can't see then on the website, i would like to know the date of the update that Tony first said that it was impossible to walk out with out being see on cctv, also what date was the bin lorry seized, anyone know ware i can find all the old updates?

If you scroll down it says "old updates". Takes you to previous items on each of the pages.

Whether the site has been upgraded or not, the chap at the council confirmed that the opening times on the website are correct.

Since it is specifically intended for use by local residents, why would it be open at 5am?
