Where is the source for Corrie buying a kebab, chips and two burgers?

Anyone else think that's a lot of food for just one person?

Quote from police:

"... I'm told that the phone moved from the time at which he had it - or seen on CCTV in Bury St Edmunds - from about 3.20 and then the phone moved over to the area of Barton Mills and Mildenhall and was last, as you say, active about 8am."

At the beginning of the video here.

Apparently normal for Corrie (I know guys who will eat that amount of food too!).

Nicola confirmed on radio interview. Transcript here.

HOST (laughing): Yes, that was quite a lot you said wasn't it, yeah.

NU: Yeah, two burgers, a kebab and a bag of chips.

HOST: And what does mum think about that?

NU: That's Corrie's usual food after he's been out for a drink. So, he sits down to eat his food and he's fallen asleep. He's fallen asleep for two hours. He's seen on CCTV while he's sleeping, he then wakes up and he walks down and goes behind the shops at Brentgovel Street ... Greggs ... which is classed as a horseshoe of shops. He walks in there, he's seen clearly walking in on CCTV and he never comes back out again. I have my own theories on that...

Pizza Mama Mia timings from police update 21st Oct

Around 1.15am – 1.30am on Saturday 24 September Corrie bought takeaway food at Pizza Mama Mia in St Andrews Street North before walking off towards Brentgovel Street, as seen on the first CCTV images issued by police.

Just to throw something random out there. What if the phone being in the bin is a coincidence and he actually put it in there himself. Some time between 3.08 and 3.24 he drops his phone, It no longer works, doesn't mean its not running in the background but he can't call anyone or write a text hence no further contact after 3.08 he gets to the horseshoe and its the bins he spots when he turns and wanders over to the area and he chucks his phone in the bin. He then waits on the steps for his pre-arranged lift or something happens with someone already there.

I just don't buy binning it because it's broken. These days phones have more than phone contacts and texts on them. They have bank details, photos, emails, auto fill etc. If he binned it, in my opinion it would e deliberately to leave without being traced (I would say awol or intending to commit suicide personally)

You've done great on the links! Daughter goes to bed in an hour so I'll grab the tablet and help then!

Is this the one that Melmoth has telephoned and is now disounted ?

The postcode appears to be correct. The actual site is about 300m SE of RPV Car Sales on the opposite side of the A1065.

ETA that the latitude and longitude coordinates seem to be wrong as they point to a field a good km SE of the fiveways roundabout.

EATA that the correct coordinates are 52.346376, 0.53809780.

Hi, I've read this forum for many years but never registered until now.

My thought is this (and forgive me if this has already been mentioned early on).

What if Corrie hitched a lift on the back of the bin lorry without being seen by the driver and then jumped off somewhere along the route when it slowed?. Where I am, you often see the workers riding on the back of a little ledge and jumping off to grab the bins. If he was on there, there's also a possibility that he could have accidentally dropped his phone into the waste area (depending on the design of the wagon) which could explain how his phone pinged where it did but without him being there.

If a bin lorry is classed as a service vehicle it is not subject to tacho rules, but not sure how it is classified.

I need a local to BSE to go to the Biffa waste depot at Hollow Lane area to identify the make of trucks they have. Are they Vultures etc? Photos would be even better with a make/model.

Right. I phoned Suffolk County Council and enquired about the Mildenhall Household Waste Recycling Centre.

Horse's mouth and all that.

This is what they told me:

1. The centre is NOT open other than at the hours publicised on the website.
2. It does take some commercial or trade waste but only from local small businesses if they have the appropriate permit from SCC.
3. It does NOT accept any waste from any large commercial organisations.
4. NO users have access, or a key to access the site, outside of official opening hours.

I think this finally knocks on the head any idea that the bin lorry could have been making a pick up from, or leaving waste at, the Mildenhall HWRC.

Good sleuthing, I'm catching up and was going to post to say that I've never used a household wast site that was also used for commercial collections. I haven't lived in the BSE area but in several others and tips are always strictly for the general public

About right, yes. The point I'm making is that Biffa do tip in Mildenhall, in a location that is less than a mile from RAF Mildenhall perimeter.
