It's a pity for his family to have to see it, but the killed man was not an innocent in any way, maybe have some compassion to the people he had hurt (and perhaps caused deaths) in his criminal activities.

Do we know for sure that he was a criminal and hurt people? All I see in the articles is that he was associated with some criminals. But was he himself ever accused of a crime or convicted?

He has been associated to one group in Malmö which has been involved in several shootings and killings there, and he has at least been involved in their drug smuggling. How his connections with the group was now I don't know, if it's possible to leave it, or if it's "once a member, always a member".

Family of man shot dead speak of heartbreak

“The family of a man shot dead in front of his wife and child on Christmas Eve have spoken of their heartbreak.
Flamur Beqiri, 36, a Swedish national, was killed in Battersea Church Road, south-west London, in what police say could have been a "targeted attack", yards from his home.
In a statement, his family said they were in "shock and grieving" and asked for their privacy to be respected.
No arrests have been made and police continue to appeal for witnesses.Mr Beqiri's family added: "We thank everyone for their kind thoughts and condolences.
"To have so much sadness at this time of the year is heartbreaking."We would kindly ask that you respect our privacy and let us grieve in peace."

“He said Mr Beqiri was of Albanian heritage and had been living in London for four or five years. "We believe Flamur may possibly have been involved in some criminality in Sweden, and are in liaison with our Swedish counterparts to try to understand what, if any, incidents there may have been that might have led to someone seeking retribution against Flamur in the UK," he added.”

“The lone assailant is believed to have fled on foot in the direction of Battersea Bridge Road.”

Beqiri paid for [wedding] guests from around the world to stay at the five-star Grand Hotel Imperiale by Lake Como.

It is extremely unlikely that the wedding was financed by the profits from his company, 20/20 Records, which he launched from a North London address in the same month he was married. [Oct 2018]

Yesterday the 20/20 Records website was taken down.

It had outlined its range of services to the music industry and its stable of artists — mainly small-time Swedish musicians. Only one, Paul Rey, appears to be known outside Sweden.

The firm was not scheduled to return accounts until September next year but one source told The Sun: “The company does not appear to have been generating anywhere near the kind of profits needed to pay for his wedding and lifestyle. There were clearly other funds available to Alex.”

Was record boss gunned down on Christmas Eve a drug kingpin?

A 22-year-old Swedish man have been arrested by Danish police at Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, after having arrived from Thailand, as a suspect for the murder of Flamur Beqiri. The arrested man deny any involvement with the murder, and don't want to be extradited to England. 22-årig svensk gripen för julaftonsmord i London
According to the Danish newspaper Extrabladet the 22-year-old is from the beginning from Tunisia, but have Swedish citizenship. He has no previous convictions, and no known criminal background. Anholdt i København: Mistænkes for gangster-mord i London

The article in Extrabladet mentions that while FB was living in Malmö, he had recieved death threats, and that was one reason why he had moved to London.

When I was reading early reports I noticed they had cctv images of a hooded man seen near a car, and it clearly showed his face. I can't find them now, but I'm wondering if that is how they identified the man they arrested. I suppose it could have been his wife who was able to identify him also.

This is the moment a gunman wore a latex face mask and posed as a street cleaner to carry out reconnaissance on a reality TV star's brother's house - before shooting him dead on his doorstep.

CCTV footage allegedly shows Anis Hemissi, 24, donning the disguise for more than four hours outside the £1.5million home of Flamur Beqiri, 36, in Battersea, south-west London.

Hemissi is accused of gunning down Mr Beqiri in front of his wife and two-year-old son on Christmas Eve 2019, as part of a bitter feud between rival Swedish criminal gangs.

In one clip, he is allegedly seen dressed as a street cleaner, donning a latex mask, sunglasses and high-visibility work clothes, while holding a litter picker and black bin bag.

Clips from the footage show him walking repeatedly back and forth in front of the property with a continuously empty bin bag. ...

The masked cleaner was in the area for more than four hours before he was approached by local resident Jeremy Lyons, whose suspicions were aroused by the 'expressionless' mask as he walked his dog, a jury heard.

Footage from a wall-mounted camera, which also records sound, on Mr Beqiri's three-floor house captured the moment Mr Lyons asks: 'Excuse me, who do you work for? Who do you work for?'

The individual then walks off as he is told: 'Get away from this estate please.' ...

Swedish nationals Estevan Pino-Munizaga, 35, Tobias Fredrik Andersson, 32, and Bawer Karaer, 23, who are said to have been sent to assist Hemissi, also deny murder.

UK national Clifford Rollox, 31, of Islington, north London, and Dutch national Claude Isaac Castor, 21, from Sint Maarten in the Caribbean but resident in the UK, deny perverting the course of justice.

Mr Beqiri is seen approaching his front gate with his wife Debora Krasniqi as the couple hold hands with their son, who is between them, moments before the attack.

A gunman, who had allegedly lain in wait for around two hours, comes from behind and the flash of the semi-automatic handgun can be seen as he repeatedly opens fire, causing the victim to fall forward on to the floor.

Gunman ‘captured on CCTV shooting man in front of wife and two-year-old son’

Clifford Rollox, 31, from Islington, north London, denies perverting the course of justice, along with Claude Castor, 21, from the Dutch colony of Sint Maarten in the Caribbean.

It is claimed Hemissi was the gunman and stayed in a flat beside the river Thames in the days before and after the murder and Rollox and Castor allegedly cleaned the apartment up after he left.

[...] the jury was shown footage of Hemissi arriving at London’s Gatwick airport from Copenhagen and then catching a taxi to an Airbnb apartment in Battersea.

The prosecution claim the apartment was chosen as the hideout for the gang in the run-up and the aftermath of Mr Beqiri’s murder.

The jury was also shown footage of Andersson buying a litter-picker and bringing it back to the apartment. The litter-picker was allegedly used by Hemissi, who was seen meeting Andersson shortly after he arrived.

The trial is expected to last until January.

Wow. Those masks are absolutely horrifying.

The prosecution say Hemissi cycled back to a nearby apartment in Oyster Wharf, which had been rented for £2,000 on Airbnb, and four hours later caught a cab to the airport and flew to Copenhagen in the early hours of Christmas Day.

The jury was shown footage on Friday of two men, who the prosecution say are Rollox and Castor, catching an Uber from Clerkenwell to Battersea on Christmas Day.
The two men loitered outside the Oyster Wharf apartment block until a car pulled up and Mr Karaer got out. He could be seen meeting up with the men, who then entered the apartment and left with a suitcase and a rucksack.

The prosecution claims they were disposing of, among other things, the murder weapon - a Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol, which has never been found.
Mr Karaer then got into a cab and was taken to Heathrow Airport and he too flies back to Scandinavia.
