This is very sad news although having answers is better than having only questions, which is the way Frankie's case looked like it was going.

It's odd in view of the charges that there's no apparent mention of having located/recovered his body.

Either they have found something on CCTV - that car they are showing perhaps involved - or had a strong tip off. If the arrested suspects are denying involvement, then not going to admit where body is. Presumably they bundled into car and disposed of some distance away.

Frankie Morris: Search for missing Anglesey teen continues

Seems like a hit-and-run to me, but they haven’t yet found the body. There’s a comment on one of his friend’s walls which references another friend who lived close to the bridge being left with head injuries due to a hit-and-run close to there, and dangerous driving being rife.

From Frankie’s mother’s and brother’s comments about his lifestyle and friends, as well as his attendance at a rave, I’d assume he was into drugs. This would explain how he had the energy and warmth to walk for hours the day after the party, and why his mother and the police have urged people to anonymously share information.

At this stage it seems likely that Frankie was hit by a dangerous driver, who was probably driving one of the cars shown on the CCTV released by police. The driver has pulled Frankie into the car and hidden his body. The arrests were made public very early on Sunday so the police may not have yet fully questioned the suspect. The bike was hidden either by the driver, passengers (who could have been those arrested for perversion of justice) or even by the other lads seen on bikes in the area who chanced upon it after the crash.

I suspect there was one or more passengers who’s told their story to the police, but doesn’t know where his body is hidden. This information could have been provided / leaked to the family and friends but means the police can’t yet confirm his death.

RIP Frankie Morris.

Officers said they had spoken to a cyclist who was caught on CCTV in the area but he was no longer part of their investigation.

Ch Insp Owain Llewelyn said because of the ongoing investigation the road from Pont Felin, Pentir, heading towards Waen Wen would be closed until further notice.

He appealed for a number of drivers to get in touch.

He said: "A large police presence will remain in the village of Pentir over the next few days whilst we continue to conduct searches.

"I would like to thank the local community for their support and understanding whilst the local roads remain affected by the necessary closures."

North Wales Police also want to talk to three male cyclists seen near the pub at about 13:45 BST that day.

Many volunteers have been involved in the search, using drones and dogs.

Ch Insp Llewelyn said "several useful reports and pieces of information" were being assessed.

"If there is anyone who was at the rave at the disused quarry in Waunfawr on Saturday, please use this link to contact us, anonymously if you prefer,"

There were some male cyclists (aged 14-19) seen loitering on the bridge at 1.45pm that day. A lady posted on the FB group to say so. She said they were stopped and in the middle of the road rather than cycling, and one of them wasn’t on his bike.

This must be the group of three cyclists that the police now want to speak to. How does this tie into a death caused by dangerous driving? If they weren’t involved surely they’d have come forward by now?

Where did they ditched him....ugly words....most logical is water....no evidence left ....he swept away...
