I actually emailed Theresa May and Damien Green months ago telling them I want police officers who fail to act on child abuse reports to face criminal charges, I’m not giving up, I have IPCC investigations looking into three police forces, South Wales, South Yorks and Bedfordshire, its shocking the number of times and things I reported but they protected him and called me a ****ing “stalker” ffs!

Yes the band knew cause I warned them to keep their kids away, I even told one of their wives to keep kids away from paedo Ian after she posted a pic on twitter of “uncle Ian” with her 3yr old son.

Last Nov after he was arrested another band member messaged me Why are you doing this, you’re ruining mine and my children’s future?, I replied “No Jamie I’m protecting your kids as I always have done. Don’t put money before your kids”

I also alerted them in 2011 to Ian telling me that songs they’d recorded were secretly about raping kids. They responded by calling me trouble, scrapping half the album and recording new tracks.

They kept quiet and put kids at risk, knowing what I’d told them because without Ian there was no band, no band = no fame or money.

I’m so ****ing angry with anyone who came out of woodwork AFTER it hit the news saying they knew about him. Well where the **** were they when I was reporting him on my own, being called psycho and liar and stalker because I was the only one repeatedly going to the police about him and his accomplices, more of them are being investigated too, I gave names ages ago.

This is a very disturbing thread which was closed two years ago, it's about who Ian Watkins is dating and you can see for yourself how fans knew what was going on, they knew names and they knew who he dated in LA - but it's also disturbing how they attack Jo, they attacked her all over the web:

The police will have a lot of work to track down all the mothers, these 'superfans' are guilty of a crime so they won't come forward. The most important thing is to get all the infants and kids who are still in circulation into custody.

It's also naive to claim that Watkins wasn't in contact with any other pedos, so maybe it's not only the superfans who are shaking in fear...

I don't envy those people around him who witnessed it all but decided to stay quiet. They are also guilty, although it was the police who refused to look into all allegations.

Wakefield prison is the toughest prison in UK, Watkins will share time with the worst criminals from UK and not all of them are pedos, "Hannibal Lecter" for example is serving his sentence in Wakefield at the moment.

So maybe the sentence wasn't too easy after all, also the mothers will serve their sentences with the general population but the court already tweeted their real names 'accidentally', so good luck to them ;)

I think Linn is referring to this individual who has been likened to the fictional character. He is (or was til recently) housed in Wakefield prison in a cage that is similar to the one featured in the movie about fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter. I had seen reports some while back that he was near death so I am not sure if he died or is still living and incarcerated there.

I really still don't understand. Being sexually attracted to young teenagers is wrong. But being sexually attracted to babies is incomprehensible. Maybe, however, we are looking at it upside down if we think of it as primarily a sexual thing. This idea helped me. "Perversion," argues Robert Stoller in a book of the same name, "is the erotic form of hatred … the hostility in perversion takes the form of a fantasy of revenge … [that] serves to convert childhood trauma into adult triumph." Hence babies. Maybe, then, we find the idea of sexual attraction towards babies unimaginable because we are thinking about it the wrong way round. Its not a pathology of sex, it's a pathology of power.

Dreadful thing is, I think he might succeed in getting his sentence cut. It does seem much longer than other sex offenders get.

I don't think the sentence is too long myself, by the way.

I can't look for anymore, it's making me feel ill. I thought this had to be a rare crime and it looks like it isn't.
 
As it stands, Watkins is likely to be eligible for oarole halfway through his sentence anyway, I think?

It would be very interesting to know how the LA and German investigations are going. I'm thinking any charges for any crimes committed in KA could be left on file, with Watkins extradited to face them, in the even he's released in the UK?

I don't hold out any hope about Germany. My impression has been they are lenient and sometimes struggle to recognise child sex abuse, especially with older children.
