I don't remember anyone discussing the Inspector Gadget blog at all, but as you say the time is very early in the afternoon, it must have been first.

I do remember it and I mentioned it to a friend at the time, but I may have seen it on another forum.

According to http://www.residentiallandlord.co.uk/news2612.html (and I have no idea of their source) GH confirmed that CJ is free to return to his flat but has decided to stay at a secret location because of all the media attention.

The report also enigmatically includes GH's claim that CG "had known Jo for some time". It's a statement from an elderly man, but does it suggest that he knew her before she moved in last October?

According to Residential Landlord

Geoffrey Hardyman, another of the tenants at the property in Clifton, said in an interview with The People:

That would be the Sunday newspaper The People. For the original piece see;

More than 300 people have attended the funeral of Joanna Yeates, the murdered landscape architect.

Tutor remembers Jo Yeates as exceptional student

11 February 2011

Jo Yeates has been remembered as an exceptional and model student on the day her body is laid to rest.

Her work will be used to inspire future students, said the leader of the landscape architecture course she graduated from just five months before she was discovered dead in a lane near Bristol.

Mr Booth said he would be giving some of Jo's work to her parents

David Booth, who leads the post-graduate course at the University of Gloucestershire, painted a picture of 25-year-old Jo as friendly and positive, extremely talented but modest.

"As soon as she pinned her work up she kind of sidled off and disappeared," he said.

Mr Booth, who only taught Jo once or twice a week, said she had made a huge impression during her year at the university.

Dutchman on UK murder charge: to name or not to name?

Published on : 25 January 2011

The British public has been shocked by the murder of 25-year-old garden architect Joanna Yeates. The fact that the suspect is a qualified engineer without any known criminal links is adding to the interest.

In the Netherlands, the press and under media refer to him as 'Vincent T.'. On pictures the suspect's face appears with a black bar over his eyes, which is common practice in the Netherlands. In the British media, Vincent Tabak's name is quoted in full, while his uncensored portrait and holiday snaps have been printed by quite a few papers. No detail is below the media's interest, including his height (6' 4"), and his 'calm, unshaven appearance' when he was arraigned.

ooops, sorry goldielox...I see that you've already explained the "blindfold".

Many thanks goldilox and enzeder, I thought maybe he had previously been held hostage in Iraq and I had found something significant. :D

Thinking about the 2 murders in Bristol, it occurred to me that GH and CJ had probably been in contact with both girls.

How rare is that????....

Hi there have been following this case for some time

CJ would have had to send condolences whether guilty or not and it's all gone very very quiet at the moment. He still expects his bail to end at his next bail meeting but has been saying this for weeks. I wonder what the police are still holding him for. Is this case, apart from how VT is going to plead when he attends court in April, fading into obscurity. We may never know the ins and outs, is it going to be another cover up.

Did CJ also live/work in Bristol at that time 1974? If so, it is a strange coincidence that two men who live in the same block, had been in contact with two young girls who had both been strangled.

Yes, he was already teaching at Clifton college in 1974 and maybe living not too far away..???

Why not visit the police page for Glenis Carruthers. (1974 murder victim)

On the left side of the page and third video down you can watch Major Crime Investigation Officer Carrie Garret talk about the murder.

For what it is worth my instinct keeps telling me her killer is still in Bristol and could have even had their name in print in recent months.

See what you deduce from this:
