Why not? I don't understand why "an escalating penchant for sexual violence" should be inadmissible.

Watching *advertiser censored* or using prostitutes is probably something lots of men do and I could understand that not being presented in court but sexual violence is surely relevant?

I guess sexual *advertiser censored* is considered acceptable, violent *advertiser censored* is indicative of an unnatural interest, so I would have thought it was relevant too.

I bet the Jurors that went for Not Guilty feel very foolish and too trusting now some of this information has been made public.

I wouldn't feel foolish if it were me. You have to make a judgement on the evidence available and if you genuinely feel some doubt about the proof then the correct thing is to vote accordingly.

Having now heard the extra evidence, I'm sure they are very glad that the majority verdict was guilty but they shouldn't berate themselves for their actions based on any doubts they had previously.

BBC news also pointing out the fear and alarm that was apparent in Bristol when people thought there could be a killer/abducter on the loose.

To be fair though, there was! Just because he knew his victim doesn't mean he wouldn't have done it again.

I am so happy Greg was able to hear the word pronounced in court and to look at the face of that sick twisted individual. One moment of satisfaction at least. That's the moment her parents, brother, Greg and close friends wanted. So glad for them.

Why oh why was all that not mentioned in court. It was so relevant.

At the pre-trial hearings the judge ruled it out because it was not evidence of VT's intention to kill.

I know its so sickening if i was on that Jury i would of felt cheated, why was evidence kept from the Jury surrounding Tabak's sexuall perversions. ;-(

But at least they found him guilty of Murder, which is all we wanted for Jo's family.

My son lived at Clifton at the time, I made him promise to make sure that he & his friends always escorted the girls in the group home and made sure that their flats were safe & secure.

Maybe. Though I never fully bought into the story of the sobbing woman, was it ever confirmed by Police or just a tabloid revelation ? We know how they like to fabricate juicy details.

I'm sure his family are totally gutted and shocked. They had such belief in him I feel pity in my heart for them too.

Because you must be judged on the evidence presented to you....If the jury knew this, they would probably have all said guilty much earlier, but then he wouldn't have been judged on the facts present.

Remember, in the UK you are innocent until proven guilty, which now thankfully, VT has been....

Very emotional statement from the cop in charge of the case on the news just now. He really genuinely seemed to be fighting back tears on several occasions during his statement. I had a lump in my throat watching him....and I'm rarely emotional.
