Very strange, I can only think they might need ladders or specialist equipment to go down a slope or hole? Or they need to search something with chemicals, maybe some kind of storage tank?

I was thinking maybe she is there and they need to cut her out something. Hoping alive but of course that seems highly unlikely I am Scottish and I feel terrible that this happened in my homeland!

A search on google brings up a Limited Co, but also accommodation. Wonder if it has a camping ground/caravan area?

Seeing convoy of those type of vehicles, is very similar to the convoy of vehicles that suddenly attended Noah Thomas' home, when the police received "a hard tip" that he was in the septic tank.

I wonder if a similar "tip" (confession) has been given in this case

Sometimes to pump water from small pools/ponds/marshes. It preserves any evidence and aids the recovery

Not necessarily. Could be they want to search a slurry pit, something like that. Don't forget fire equipment can be used to pump out an area. If they were worried about chemicals I'd expect to see a hazmat team I think.

Just thought I'd mention that we only have the detained mans word that she accompanied him, went to his flat, and had sex.

He could just as easily have dragged her into his car, raped her in a park and disposed of her elsewhere. She may have been headed home, chatted to a guy who was also leaving and it went pear shaped.

Or they have & the fire engines are in pumping out something or assisting in finding evidence! All just speculation and second guessing at the moment!

I would imagine even if they have found a body or know there is one there the last thing the Police want is that getting out before her poor brother/s arrive from Aus.

Guessing she hasn't been found if the fire engines have just turned up but maybe they have good reason to believe she is there.

Seems it is a guest home /working farm. Lots of isolated areas that someone from that area would be familiar with.
