He is accused of attacking her with the spanner at his flat and at another location, so either he hit her with the spanner after the club to disable her to get her to his flat or she was still alive at the farm and she was beaten and strangled at the farm.
I'm a Cork man myself have a sister Karens age who is also a nurse, she knew girls that are friends with Karen and the exact same things were said drugs were a big no no and she wasn't a one night stand girl. I think he managed to get her out of the club some way, it all doesn't make sense I can see why Karens friends got worried so quickly it was totally out of character.

The poor poor girl. I hope she was unconscious the entire time. No one deserves to die like this but Karen seems to have been a genuinely lovely person. She should have died in her bed aged 90 sorrounded by her children and grandchildren. Not this. This is just wrong. I feel like this about Stephanie Scott and Jill Meagher too. What kind of creature kills for the sake of it?!
If he killed her then what did he do with her body between then and Monday afternoon when he was allegedly at the farm? Am I alone in thinking he would have needed assistance moving the body cleaning the murder scene etc. rumours also circulating that a spanner with blood on it was the item recovered by a member of the public however it's also been suggested that CCTV was handed in showing him striking Karen near his car. Nobody knows at this point but so many unanswered questions.
He would have kept the body in his flat whilst he thought about where to dump it - a lot of murderers have behaved like this. I think he would have covered it in bleach or some kind of household chemical and wrapped it up in a blanket or black bags. He seems to be a stocky man and she was fairly small so it would have been easy enough for him to quickly carry her body to his car. I think if anyone else assisted they would have been arrested by now as well.
Apparently he had a flatmate that was not there at the time.

According to the accused's mother a witness not her son had seen Karen after 4 am, makes me think. Who were these witnesses? If they saw her did she leave the flat and was followed by AP. That's of course if the witnesses are credible.

So he killed her and I would guess he moved her body to the storage shed at some stage on the sunday then went for a wee drive on monday.
I do feel he killed her at his house because had he attacked her with a spanner on Church Street police would have been looking for evidence of blood splatters and the street would have been closed off. I didn't see any reports of forensics being on Church Street - it would have been all over the news. The reports of something nasty captured on cctv on church street could just be rumours.

So where else was she attacked with the spanner apart from the flat, according to the paper he is accused of hitting her with the spanner at Dorchester Avenue and another location.
We covered this earlier in the thread. If you read previous posts a lot of people on here got confused by the way some papers had reported the timeline and believed there was cctv from the flat of her leaving at 4am. The mum may have innocently thought the same. Mothers always think their sons can do no wrong.

I have the sense that he planned to kill someone that night and it just so happened that Karen became his target. If the police do have her drink, it will be interesting to see if it was spiked.
If she was completely coherent, what in the world did he say that made her leave with him without telling her friends? I can see her, even if it was out of character, leaving with a man from a bar. She's a woman, for goodness sake. But to not tell her friends makes no sense to me. Maybe he threatened her with a gun, the idea of a gun? Her body language does look to me very defensive or that she was cold. She certainly doesn't look carefree and happy to be walking with him. B******! :censored:

That is what I can't work out. It could be just the way the article is written. He could have attacked her before bringing her to his flat - I can't see her somehow escaping his flat and being attacked again - but there were no forensics at all on Church Street so I really don't think it happened there. A location that could be possible is Dawsholm park but why on earth would she go into a dark park with him at 1am.
