I am still not ruling out that PR and LS was the last two people on the cctv at Oak rd at 2.34. Until the police confirm this. The way they was coming they could've been near the football pitches this is were the last police searches was done at Riversdale rd in the gardens of them houses and asking residents have the scene any clothing.
Haven't liked to contemplate that possibility because it will have put Libby with PR for nearly 2.5 hours.

I agree but remember she had no keys her friends would not be home till 3 or later.
Not a known fact. It's speculation.

I do wonder about that. Witnesses seem to have indicated that she didn't go to the door of her house, which suggests that if she had no key she must have already been aware of it. So why not get the taxi to take her somewhere else, most obviously back to the Welly where her friends were, to get a key from one of them?

Lets be clear about this.

Hacking is the process of gaining illegal access to a computer system. It generally requires a high level of skill. It is particularly difficult to achieve over a mobile network without direct access to the target device as digital mobile transmissions are encrypted by default. This is what would be required to intercept the communication between a taxi driver and their controller.

Modding or jailbreaking (which I did not mention) is a legal process used to customise the operating system of mobile phones. There are plenty of forums with simple guides to allow people to do this. This will not give any Tom Dick or Pavel the ability to magically intercept taxi drivers communication.

I did not state that PR would be able to do this, someone else did, they have since removed their statement because they realised how ridiculous it was.

I also haven't kept trying to change the definition of what I am talking about to try and prove that an incorrect statement was right.

Do you want to stop digging now?

I shouldn't have laughed at the Tom, Dick or Pawel.

Is this witness Tom the neighbour who saw her fall over a few times.?

I don't remember any names, but it was the lads who were waiting for a taxi themselves. Also the taxi driver who helped her up might be able to clarify what happened. The police already know what they had to say, of course.

She was drunk and not thinking straight? Possibly not enough money?

She headed to a well lit area near a bus stop where, in a drunken mindset, she could have assumed she'd bump into her friends getting off a bus later. Being drunk might mean forgetting little details like bus timetables and hours waiting in the cold.

Sober and aware, the best place would have been the safety and warmth of the University library.

I wonder if it was because the club paid for the taxi and maybe she didn't have cash/enough cash on her (seems odd as she was on her way out, but some of my uni student daughter's mates go out completely brassic just to stay part of the crowd) ?

I know somebody said that a doorman said that, but I find it very, very hard to believe. I would think that the club would regard it as the responsibility of her friends.
It's quite common to take the student card as a security and you only get it back when you refund the money. A lot of the clubs do it.

The bench is likely too far away from Oak Road CCTV for 'the four' to see or hear anything at the point they were being filmed. If you're thinking of 'running man' in particular, sounds could carry in the open at that time of night, but there's also a constant 'whirring' sound from all of the industry in the area.

As for access, I suspect that the bench is just beyond the park's main car park - which is locked up at night. There is foot access to the right, here:
Google Maps

@Joelle88 tells me there is also access to the left of the car park.

I may go for a walk around some of the sites of interest over the next few days. I know @Strontium69 made some very good videos, but I'm happy to take requests such as photos or observations.
Where would he park if the parks car park is closed to allow him to access the foot entrance? LE seem very keen on that location.

I've never taken much notice of the screams reported in park before but maybe running man did hear something funny.

Anywhere in the vicinity of here would do:

This may seem like a daft question, and maybe no one knows the answer, but have LE searched the trees/undergrowth that separate oak road from the park? I appreciate it might not currently be as leafy as on streetview so maybe not deemed necessary. And I mean from the Oak Rd/Beresford side rather than the park side

Hi Vermont, Any way of pinpointing where the searched bench in the park area is (maybe a Google Maps' aerial shot)? I think it appeared on one of Strontium's videos a while ago.

I've got an idea of which bench it might be, and I'm planning on flagging that in whatever post comes out of my walk. Maybe someone can link that video and I'll see if I'm thinking the same as @Strontium69 .

I am not convinced that PR was breaking into student houses and stealing dildos, they are used by people who can’t get any action whereas uni is apparently one big knocking shop according to a couple of friends of mine who went to uni, plenty of action for any girl that wants it so i doubt that uni students would need to use dildos so I would imagine PR was robbing homes of an older demographic
Seriously?
