Been following since first thread. My mind has gone from accident to foul play back to accident and so forth. Just when I am convinced that NB did have a tragic accident, a snippet of info comes out and it’s just enough to stir my mind again. I can definitely see how the police are being pulled in all different directions! Hope they find something soon, I cannot imagine what her little girls are feeling.
I did wonder if the police pulled back as they felt someone was trying to manipulate ht emedia soemhow. But maybe it's jus that it all gets so sensationalistic it becomes hard to conduct an investigation with loads of weirdos taking selfies turning up.
I'm genuinely concerned for Nicola, I'm just hoping the distractions, if that's what they are, haven't lost the police vital time in finding Nicola before something bad happened. It's been such an impossible task.
People keep debating a third party. If something criminal is involved here, I think there is at Least one other party involved. So single person could have made this happen. Its slickness implies collusion, or a willing departue that turned into something else. Has someone threatened Nicola's family, so she went instead? Is that too dramatic?
Some people are being selectively silent. All the points Paul Ansell makes are true: an outside person would have to have entered and left the scene without being detected, so they must be local - or it's perhaps someone else, who met Nicola at the road?
If there are other possibilities I can't think of any right now. I have thought Nicola could have had some other sort of accident? She runs after the dog and then a hit-and-run conceals the body, then someone ties up the dog separately? Whya re there apparently no forensics whatsoever? Anywhere? I find that really hard to believe.
The flow of traffic is so high on the road at 9/9:30 it seemed difficult to imagine her being bundled into a car. If Nicola didn't have an accident, I can only think my deception theory is correct. She wouldn't have abandoned her dog or her fmaily that way so she must have been deceived to go somewhere willingly somehow. And then - something else.
See, now I'm going back to the residential areas and the campsites. Any temporary parks. Who knew she was there on the walk and on a call, distracted? Or, if she left voluntarily, IF she did - was the call a good opportunity for her to go wherever it was she has gone?
I'm assuming the telephony intel they talk about the phone being located on the bench was through the chat on the Teams call? Did Nicola let people know the call was on speakerphone and that info would have been part of the silent chat you have during these calls?
She had said to a friend it was an important call, and her partner Paul said he morning was very orderly and 'different' - was she nervous for reason that wasn't just to do with business? It must have been vital to have been on time for the call and she was signed in at 9:01. They would have known where she was by her telling them when she'd logged in perhaps?
Increasingly I lean towards two possibilites: i) Someone planned to make her disappear, knowing she would be there at that time on a call and on a walk ii) She planned to go, and used the call as an opportunity to leave - but I say this advisedly as she may have been under duress or receiving threats we don't know about.
The third possibility is that she encountered some accident and is somewhere unchecked.
Those are all the possibilities I can think of.
