They deal with property matters Dotta so acquisitions - houses/land that sort of thing and they will draw up the documents and do the searches etc.
With the multi-disciplined solicitors firms like Russell and Russell they will be ( if the firm is big enough ) solicitors there to deal with all manners of issues so a team for crime/ family matters / civil / PI
R & R have been going a very long time.

Thanks.
I checked my old friend Google too :D
Here we call them "Notariusz/Notary"

I guess the sketches I posted are from Police interrogations.
I recognized the grey jumper.

Only the Jumper hehe

I think Rose West is also under a whole life order. It's on her Wikipedia, anyway. So, there are four. Hindley(dec), West, Dennehy, and now Letby.

MOO

I was under the impression that Hindley was eligible for parole, hence she frequently applied for it and also some people believe she was covertly released and didn't die in prison.

Yes, but only two had their sentences handed down by the convicting court under the current sentencing system, Dennehy and Letby.

Hmmm
She didn't seem to enjoy the trial IMO.
Judging by Court sketches.

She, as others, enjoys positive attention.

I guess Mr NJ KC referred to her enjoying "lying games".

Depends whether she enjoys the thrill of deception or whether it was a means to an end.
A true psychopath can often see scope where there is truly no mileage what so ever!

Hindley kept fighting for the right to go before the parole board but never got the opportunity.

She was never released and definitely died in custody.

Quoting myself as I just double checked - apologies Myra Hindley was in fact the first UK female to be ordered a life sentence with no possibility of parole.

Anyway, for some reason there's a whole lot of people who think she was snuck out of prison and never died in there.

Seems Maggie Thatcher did one good thing

hmm police were called in just as medical negligence cliams were being made Police investigating baby deaths at Countess of Chester Hospital
The article doesn't say that.

It says
"Justine Jones, a clinical negligence lawyer for Slater and Gordon in Chester, who is representing the parents of several babies who died, said: ‘The hospital has taken the highly unusual step of calling in the police to investigate these deaths, which will come as a shock to the families."

We have no idea from this article when the solicitor started representing any of the families. Did the hospital notify the families of its own investigations prior to calling in police?

Another article of the same date says parents were informed prior to the announcement in the press -

DCS Nigel Wenham said that the investigation was in its very early stages, so police would not be able to provide any further details. “We recognise that this investigation will have a significant impact on all of the families involved, staff and patients at the hospital and the public,” he said.

Parents of the babies are being updated on the investigation and will be supported throughout the process by specially trained officers. We are committed to carrying out the investigation as quickly as possible.”
