She wasn't breaking any rules by walking on her own so that doesn't make any sense. Also I don't think I've ever heard of police officers co-ordinating to escort people home.
I’ve been given a lift before by a police officer. Granted it was a female uniformed police officer in a marked police vehicle (I wasn’t being arrested or anything). I don’t think we can rule it as something that never happens MOO

On March 2 he began a 12-hour shift at 7pm before going on leave.

So that leaves him in London (presumably?) from around 7am on March 3. What was he doing up until he encountered ES at around 9.35pm that evening?

Interesting. Do they reckon he might have brought her to the house or maybe sussing out if they actually knew each other..
And they were interested in a property a few doors down too you'd said.. Is that a derelict house? Could he have left her there on the night he kidnapped her I wonder?
Ok, asked about the 3rd March, also very specifically a couple of times about Fri 5th March.
Also, asked if I had ever seen(showed photographs of) Sarah,
-Have you ever seen her 'here'
May be of use may not, but there it is x

Now this is very interesting. The 6th is the day he emailed to say he did not want to carry a firearm anymore.

It sounds as if they don’t think the disposition of Sarah’s remains was on the third, that either she or her remains were kept somewhere until at least the 5th.

What a terrible case.

I agree, that actually forms part of my version. But for it to be co-ordinated to escort all lone females from an area seems like a stretch?

With LLs recent comments and the very open, public point of their 'meeting', it really does make me wonder if they did indeed know each other.

I don't think they were in a relationship, but they could have met under a million different circumstances. She does carry a striking resemblance to his wife. Could he have come across her in some other circumstance and got obsessed?

Speculation, again.

I was thinking that too. The chidren would not be back to school yet (I know that WC could be classed as an essential worker, but what about EC). Plus if both wife and children at home, that more or less removes WCs ability to say as much.

Depends on what he needed SE for, perhaps. If he liked to expose himself, then to me - not be an expert on these matters - it doesn’t seem that he can have exposed himself between putting on hazard lights and driving off with Sarah in the car. Wondering if an unconscious or newly passed body could have been left in the garage or shed, somewhere that’s his domain that children don't go in as it has tools etc and wife could be kept an eye on.

I am starting to think the bus cctv maybe did capture something significant as they did issue a charge of abduction quite quickly and the charge is took by force. Maybe the cctv saw a struggle. MOO

A struggle or he just cuffed her. Sarah wouldn't have known he wasn't on duty, he didn't need to act, he was a cop, he had a warrant card, he probably had cuffs, everything he did in that brief period of time wouldn't have been questioned by many, if at all.

but were they in uniform and a police car? Because WC was a big male on his own no uniform or marked car. I honestly doubt Sarah would have got in a car with him willingly. I think he’s silenced her quite quickly.

I actually think the other poster maybe correct, but note, this is not my area of expertise.

Preliminary Hearings in Criminal Proceedings
There are many types of preliminary hearings in criminal legal proceedings e.g. bail hearings, committal, allocation or 'sending for trial' hearings when it is decided where the trial will take place. Such proceedings are normally held in public but what can be reported is severely restricted – only the 'bare bones' can be reported e.g. names of parties, offences, arrangements as to bail. Programme-makers must always seek advice from the programme lawyer before reporting on criminal legal proceedings.

But, as I said, the original article is STILL online. Any breach of rules would have seen it removed.

I'm agreement with all of this
