I don't know it looks right but there's a gateway at side now
Left side of garage xI don't know it looks right but there's a gateway at side now
I think the theory is (IMO) he took her, then killed her...So is the theory that he killed her, then took her... to his home? the garage? to put her in the bag... then left in one of those places? until x day when he moved the body to the woods?
I’ve been given a lift before by a police officer. Granted it was a female uniformed police officer in a marked police vehicle (I wasn’t being arrested or anything). I don’t think we can rule it as something that never happens MOOShe wasn't breaking any rules by walking on her own so that doesn't make any sense. Also I don't think I've ever heard of police officers co-ordinating to escort people home.
Surely not
That can not be a serious line of enquiry, am I missing the sarcasm? They can't possibily think she was alive on the 5th and being taken to visit the family home
There was sarcasm indeed! I just don’t think this is a reasonable line of enquiry for the police to makeSurely not

Interesting. Do they reckon he might have brought her to the house or maybe sussing out if they actually knew each other..
And they were interested in a property a few doors down too you'd said.. Is that a derelict house? Could he have left her there on the night he kidnapped her I wonder?
Ok, asked about the 3rd March, also very specifically a couple of times about Fri 5th March.
Also, asked if I had ever seen(showed photographs of) Sarah,
-Have you ever seen her 'here'
May be of use may not, but there it is x

Huh? Are you a reporter Detective?I’m sorry I just don’t believe this living opposite story - happy to be corrected but the chances of this are vanishingly small
I was thinking that too. The chidren would not be back to school yet (I know that WC could be classed as an essential worker, but what about EC). Plus if both wife and children at home, that more or less removes WCs ability to say as much.
I am starting to think the bus cctv maybe did capture something significant as they did issue a charge of abduction quite quickly and the charge is took by force. Maybe the cctv saw a struggle. MOO

I agree, that actually forms part of my version. But for it to be co-ordinated to escort all lone females from an area seems like a stretch?
I actually think the other poster maybe correct, but note, this is not my area of expertise.
Preliminary Hearings in Criminal Proceedings
There are many types of preliminary hearings in criminal legal proceedings e.g. bail hearings, committal, allocation or 'sending for trial' hearings when it is decided where the trial will take place. Such proceedings are normally held in public but what can be reported is severely restricted – only the 'bare bones' can be reported e.g. names of parties, offences, arrangements as to bail. Programme-makers must always seek advice from the programme lawyer before reporting on criminal legal proceedings.

With LLs recent comments and the very open, public point of their 'meeting', it really does make me wonder if they did indeed know each other.
I don't think they were in a relationship, but they could have met under a million different circumstances. She does carry a striking resemblance to his wife. Could he have come across her in some other circumstance and got obsessed?
Speculation, again.
So why are they asking the question? There was sarcasm indeed! I just don’t think this is a reasonable line of enquiry for the police to make
I imagine they want to close off any and all possible line of enquiry but also have a complete image of what happened so a successful prosecution can be ensuredSo why are they asking the question?
