Good heavens. In one part of his statement, Christopher Edwards said: “Susan had cut their clothes off them and put them in duvet covers - I looked under the bed and there were these two forms underneath and that was enough for me.

And then read the bit underneath! He goes straight into disturbing detail about gurgles and blood.

Also says Mr Wycherley was 'cantankerous'.

Mom doesn't sound like a treat either! wonder if she really did sleep with SIL or was just being a nasty cow? Either way what a horrid thing to say to a daughter.

Wonder what SIL will say under oath re this nasty tryst.

This is the only mention of where the weapon came from that I can find. No mention of who owned it though:

In one of the recent articles, it mentions Christopher Edwards telling police Mrs Wycherley accused her daughter of 'dragging her away from London' - I wonder if the couple 'downgraded' from there to Nottingham, leaving them with a healthy profit in their bank?

Okay so the allegation is that the dead old lady claimed that her dead old husband had in years past slept with the daughter who killed them and that she herself had slept with the husband of the killer, Edward?

CE has told the court they only collected the Ws' pension to 'avoid suspicion' and that he 'knew nothing about the money'. Didn't own a gun either...but he showed the jury how to fire one.

(Amazed his lawyer allowed that - but maybe an objection overruled? Highly damaging, like Oscar Pistorius when he got so carried away with explaining the details of his guns to prosecution)

Okay, when that comes from someone who followed the Arias trial - it's got to be weird!

A couple of articles summing up this afternoon's proceedings, now ended. Seemed to consist mostly of CE insisting the murder(s?) were not about the money, he knew nothing about the money, while at the same time outlining how desperate their financial straits were.

My math isn't good but....this couple gained £250,000 over 15 yrs from the Ws' deaths, plus any monies they had coming in themselves from work/pensions, plus they borrowed £10,000 from an employer just before they fled to France (lived there with family, so rent free?) but they still ended up with one Euro in their pocket and £160,000 debt.

I think they were just really bad with money.

Mrs Edwards has claimed to have found her father, William Wycherley, lying on the floor and her mother, Patricia, standing near him in a bedroom with a revolver.

“She said I was an unwanted child,” Mrs Edwards told the jury at Nottingham Crown Court on June 13.
“She [Mrs Wycherley] said she’d been to bed with Chris.

“She told me she knew my father abused me.

She threw the gun on the bed and I picked it up to keep it from her.

“She kept saying things over and over again.

I asked her to ‘please stop saying things’ and ‘will you go away’.”

“She went on and on. It seemed like a long time. At some point, I lost it. I shot my mother.”
