I tend to think Misty was so freaked out when LE showed up, and messed up on top of it, that she didn't even remember she had her purse. This is what Ron left his kids with - I suspect Ron ought to be happy JR. isn't missing as well. JMO.

She DID look messed up in that last one...and you're right Ron ought to be happy that Jr isn't missing..then again he just never did/still doesn't seem too upset that HaLeigh IS missing, ya know? I've known some messed up people in my time, but these characters are in a class all of their own! :furious:

charlie, did you notice how proud Misty looked in the clip where she told the UA that "nobody wanted to hire Misty Croslin"...:sick:..made me throw up a little in my mouth..

I'm a little confused by the way Misty and Ron set these drug deals up. Per Concerned Papa, they had to get the money from the buyer first as they had no credit with the supplier. They frequently drove with the buyer to the supplier, (not bright) and then probably doubled what they bought drug for. In the video Misty sets up a bathroom pass of the drug? What is that about??? Why does Ron worry about his image and voice it to someone he is selling drugs to?
I need more of this video. Is that how an addict feels?

Diden't Rc state to the reporter that he was coming out of the store from buying ciggs. that he got arrested... On news4jax he was arrested after he got out of car....

I thought he said he came out of the store, Misty was sitting in the car with the friend and called him to come over so he did and got in the car. He was trying to play innocent about not knowing what was going on in the car.
Not that it matters, they got caught red-handed. I was waiting for the le incident report on the last transaction to be posted somewhere to find out what went down but if the video comes out first that is even better!

I also found Ron's statement about Haleigh being "well behaved" very strange and suspicious. I think the fact that Haleigh wasn't so well behaved that particular day played a huge part in her "gone missing".

You know, I've believed for a L O N G time that what happened to HaLeigh was heavy handed discipline of some sort that night that went way too far. But just this evening thinking about what he said, along with seeing how F'd up Ron was when he said that..I wonder if that statement was a kind of Freudian slip of sorts! IIRC he actually said was something along the lines of 'HaLeigh was the most well behaved child he ever HAD.' ..hmm..

nah..I was married to an addict for many years and granted he was not the brightest crayon in the box, but THIS imo was sheer stupidity. If it weren't so sad that a child has been gone, poof..vanished for over a year now, it would be laughable even for a druggie..

I forgot the end of that statement and he did say "that he ever had". Wasn't this followed closely by the statement that he would "give my life for my child's life back", followed by his throwing himself on the ground to create drama to cover his misspeaks. Ron was going all Freudian that morning. Theresa should have taken those drugs away.

I have a question. Why are people allowed to plead not guilty when clearly they are guilty? There are 8 video tapes, and these videos are clear, not fuzzy no mistake in identity. I know they are going with the entrapment defense but still Not guilty, please they also all admitted their involvement. It should be a crime to for the court system to allow this waste of our tax payer dollars!

Because we as citizens of the U.S. are allowed a jury of our peers (well, what should be considered a jury trial). You only get that if you plead not guilty at arraignment. You plead guilty, it goes right to sentencing. Then it becomes a matter for the state to have evidence, which is why they set up hidden cameras in cars....

You want this in place if you're ever actually innocent of something you might be charged with. Just because it's available to those on candid camera too, is merely what we as innocent taxpayers pay to protect US from.

Sure looks as if the drug dealing was a real boon to her self esteem and leadership skills. JMO - but, it appears to me in these snippets that Misty is the one in control and calling the shots. Can't wait to see more of these.

Ron looked so happy and relaxed in those tapes who would believe that he was the father of a missing child, a child who had been "stole" a year ago, a child who disappeared without a trace. Sure could have fooled me. Is this the same Ron I heard on a jailhouse audio a few days ago sniveling with his mother about his missing child? Very strange, very strange indeed.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss :hug: If my child was missing I would not be able to function, and I certainly would not be out selling dope, and worrying about how I appear to others. I would be worried about my child and life would not go on in my world til my child was found. I just can not understand this, my brain does not grasp this at all.
