Not a case, but very interesting info I think for the UK. I hope it soon becomes national.

Police offer drink spiking test kits

A police force is to offer drink and urine testing kits to clubbers who think their drinks have been spiked.

Devon and Cornwall Police are working with venues across Plymouth to tackle the "growing issue of drink spiking".

Revellers can ask staff to test their drinks at the bar and if anything shows up officers will be able to provide a urine testing kit.

The force hopes that the three-month pilot scheme will be rolled out across the country if it is successful.

Drink spiking was reported in Devon and Cornwall 89 times in 2018, 79 times in 2017, 39 times in 2016 and four times in 2015.

Saw this on BBC news. Is it perhaps making a thread or is there one already?

Body found in loft after eight months

Body found in Enfield loft eight months after reported missing
The body of a teenager has been found in a loft more than eight months after he was reported missing, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Abdi Ali was last seen by his family on 11 December following a family wedding.

On 27 August he was found dead inside a home on Hartmoor Mews, in Enfield, north London.

Gary Hopkins, 36, and Stacey Docharty, 28, have been charged with murder, perverting the course of justice and preventing the lawful burial of a body.

The pair appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on 30 August and have been remanded in custody ahead of further court appearances on dates and locations which are yet to be set.
I don't think there was ever a thread on this case, verdicts today:
______________

An Old Bailey jury found Hopkins guilty of murder after 16 hours of deliberations. Hopkins had admitted perverting the course of justice and preventing the lawful burial of a body.

The jury cleared his partner Stacy Docherty, 28, of murder but was unable to reach verdicts on the two other charges. Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC discharged jurors and adjourned sentencing of Hopkins until 26 April.

The court heard how Hopkins took about £400 from the victim to give his own family a good Christmas and took them to Leominster, in Herefordshire, to lay low.

Despite Abdi being reported missing by his family, his body lay undiscovered for eight months.
