I'm so sorry Clue.
He was very lucky, and proud, to have you as a daughter, I'm sure.
Local news says police found a body in the Jordan River.
No details yet except for location.
Has anyone checked to see what other cases may be in the area? That is quite a ways away from where Kayelyn went missing if we're talking barefoot and rainy day by foot. Sad day for some family out there though regardless.
Yikes! That's about 6 miles or about 15 minutes by car from Kayelyn's condo to the river where the news says the body was found.

Does anyone have Kayelyn's date of birth?
I think the police knew what they were dealing with once the 911 tapes were heard and from the officers who first responded to her calls...I hope it's not her that was found but I feel it just might be unfortunately...the clothing should be identifiable by family on sceneI don't know why the family is so resistant to the idea that she could have been delusional? That actually would make the police look even HARDER for her, as she would be considered a vulnerable adult.
I think she was found in the river today. Like Tameeka, I wish we knew what was going on in her head.
WEST VALLEY CITY A body was discovered almost completely submerged in the Jordan River Monday.
It was discovered just after 11 a.m. by West Valley City work crews looking at a drainage pipe near 3300 South and 1200 West. They noticed the body barely sticking out of the water in the middle of the river. It was underneath a bridge and partially hidden by water plants, said West Valley police spokeswoman Roxanne Vainuku.
A police dive team was called to recover the body. Because of decomposition, police were not immediately able to determine an age or gender or cause of death.
The family of missing Murray woman Kayelyn Louder also showed up at the scene. There was no immediate indication from investigators that they believed the body found was of Louder or that it was even a woman.
Police could not say Monday how long they believe the body had been in the water.

In an unrelated incident, three Salt Lake City men have been missing since Nov. 1. Levi Collins, 34, Danny Kiko Gallegos, 35, and Braden Parker Emerson, 23 disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
An SUV with a large amount of blood that the men were believed to be in was found Nov. 3 near the Jordan River surplus canal at 1740 W. 1500 South.
On Monday evening West Valley police tweeted there would be "no further updates" on the case until the autopsy was complete.
