Who says "I don't want anyone to think I murdered so n so"
- when they die suddenly?

Just wondering.

Ok Rachel is on HLN.
THEY SAID AGAIN -jury is not in the room ...
When does the jury come in?

Then HLN is wrong.

This is a low blow.. Really low.. She is being credible.. How her father can allow this is disgusting.

OMG I hate it when lawyers look up a mental illness and point out the very WORST symptoms as something possible the person experienced! Ticks me off! :banghead:

Can this lawyer ask about delusions and psychosis? Outrageous.

Rachel! Ask her if she kicks dogs and cats when no one is watching.

How this is relevant to the case is beyond me. It should not be allowed in..

A Murderer?

I am so freaking angry at this line of questioning right now.

Seriously, is this necessary???

Way to kick your daughter when she is down, dude.

Can you even report you are having delusions or psychosis... or is that just diagnosed??

Attorney: You testified today that on October 24 you went to McDonald's.
Witness: Yes, that's correct.
Attorney: But at the preliminary hearing last year you stated that you went out to dinner.
Witness: We went to McDonald's.
Attorney: But saying you "went out to dinner" doesn't sound like you went to a fast food place.
Witness: Well, we went out to eat.
Attorney: "Going out to dinner" and "going out to eat" don't sound like the same thing.
Witness: I don't know.
Attorney: What did you have to eat?
Witness: I don't remember, it was years ago.
Attorney: You have no idea what you had to eat.
Witness: It was probably a Big Mac.
Attorney: But you don't actually remember.
Witness: No. That's all I ever get at McDonald's, but I don't specifically remember.
Attorney: In fact, you could have gone somewhere else.
Witness: No, we went to McDonald's.
Attorney: Do you have a receipt from McDonald's?
Witness: No, it was five years ago!
Attorney: So you don't save your receipts.
Witness: From McDonald's?! No!

Edit: I just made this up. It's my impression of the defense attorney.

BEing bipolar does not mean you are not credible.. Shame on you.. lady

I think that the judge was out of line when he even broached the term 'impeach her testimony'. He dropped that tidbit so the jury could hear it as if this witness is getting real close to being impeached. How dare he poison the jurys' mind.

Between the female atty and this judge I don't know which I dislike more.

You can self report IF you realize it is happening, otherwise it it's diagnosed based on psych interview. ( My sister is bipolar and this witness reminds me of her in affect and attitude.)
