I didn't know it was twice. How on earth... why on earth... and after Michele died?

I have so many words for him, words that would make my sailor sons blush, but I'm sitting on my hands.

The allegation is that he fondled her twice while she was sleeping. Twice - after Michele's death.

In the months following her mon's death. Martin admitted it in a recorder phone call with Alexis.

The trial is stayed until after this trial is concluded.

Thanks for correcting me.

I missed Alexis' direct testimony but got to see cross examination, and here are my thoughts: Alexis came off better than I had anticipated. She was courteous and forthright in her answers with Spencer. She was not defensive or argumentative. Those things boost her credibility.

On the other hand I have some doubt about the logs and whether or not Alexis added info after the fact, maybe based on her memory. I also have doubt about whether Michele really said "If something happens to me, make sure it was not your father." And apparently Alexis did say at the funeral that Michele had been feeling a little sick -- that contradicts her other statements, and I'm not sure what to make if it.

Hate to say this, but there are a couple of things that point away from Martin's guilt. There was no Lortab in Michele's system, and that was in liquid form so it would have been pretty easy for Martin to use that in a cocktail if he was intentionally trying to overdose Michele. There was also no phenergan in her system - but that was a suppository and it would have been hard to sneak that into food or drink. So the drugs that were in her system were basically the drugs that the doctor normally prescribed + Valium. The question remains why would Michele have taken ambien in the morning?

Minor, now you have me wondering. WHAT IF and these are big what ifs: Michelle took the meds thinking she was taking the correct drugs/amount. Got a little confused, took another thinking she hadn't taken them. Chances are at her age, she wore readers and may not have had them on due to her facelift surgery. Made her way to the bathroom because she soiled her underwear or her bottom and ran the tub to soak/rinse the clothes out or herself off. While on the toilet in the process of ....she is straining and in doing so she passes out and falls into the tub and drowns. Not very likely, but we all know stranger things that have happened.

Sometimes we want so badly for something to either be true or untrue that we see things that are or aren't there. Yes MM is a IMO and a seemingly horrible person. But what if he is only guilty of being a and not of murder? Did any of the daughters ever say their Dad never loved them or anything to that affect? I have met quite a few men who were lousy husbands to my friends but great dads to their kids. What if he is innocent? :scared: :truce:

The only problem with this is that ADA said she was completely dressed when she saw her in the tub. Also Then why all the acting by MM.. And he was acting.. He could have easily drug her out started CPR, put the phone down and remained calm.. He was acting.. That is where he left the first clue of what he was a part of.

Maybe he thought Alexis was Gypsy Willis...she looks more like her (physically) than she does her mother, superficially anyway.

I guess anything is possible and I unfortunately think it is going to be difficult to get a guilty verdict. My opinion as of now is, he is guilty.
Given the facts of all the shady things he has been involved with since the age of 17.
The fraud, the bad checks, deceiving people and yes I know that does not make him a killer. His made up terminal illness. We also have his insistence on a facelift, the prescriptions he wanted for Michele, the home improvements that seem have been for the Nany. I also think her being over medicated on his watch ls a big factor and her dying after Alexis left her side. I left out a bit more, but these things put the suspicion directly on him. IMO

I see this as a guilty. They have convinced me with what we have so far. It makes perfect sense that he had the time and the motive and means to kill her.

Hi Zuri, he did disown them, leave them a dollar.I cant see a loving father doing that ever. IMO.. I wish it could come in about the mother and his brother.

I tend to agree with you, but will they convince the jury? I was totally convinced that Casey Anthony was going to get a guilty verdict.

He's a whole lot of nasty things but I'm not yet convinced he is guilty of murder. Certainly don't want him running around loose and I wonder if the jury will feel that way too. Very interesting case.

I took what Ada saw and reported with a grain of salt, given that she was 6 at the time and probably saw her mother submerged in colored water. I think MM had something to do with Michelle's death at the very least. He has lied, stolen, cheated, manipulated and abused just about everybody. My point was what if. I totally agree with you his actions were circumspect from the outset. I hope he is found guilty. JMO :seeya:

I could buy into the "maybe he is innocent of murder" thing if he didn't lie in the situation or change what happened and what he said to just about each and every person. Innocent people have no reason to change their story or lie about what happened. The comment to one of the girls about hoping no one thinks he hurt Michele is just mucho bizarre. Why would anyone think that about that situation?? IMO he said that because he suspected it could happen and then he could say "See? I told you this would happen." With everything that this man has done and that has happened around him he doesnt seem to have had an honest moment in his adult life.

Innocent people have no reason to lie or mislead an investigation. They have no reason to cover anything up....

Not me. I believe that kids will remember something that traumatic with great detail.

I bet she walked over and stood over the tub and saw exactly what she said she saw.

ITAgree
I am also surprised there are no objections by prosecutor.

How did Damian M suicide? I am wondering if family will want him exhumed and examined ny ME to see if he was murdered if MM is found guilty???

True, but the interview was over a year later and her memory could have been tainted. There is no doubt in my mind, Martin premeditated the murder of Michelle but with all the rulings......can a jury be convinced?? I don't think so.

gypsy lived downstairs _ (is this the space that marty was fixing up????)

I wish they would get more details out about the renovations Martin made to this room. What kind of room was it and what was done to it. For some reason when Sabrina stated that Gypsy's room was downstairs I had a "wait a damn minute" moment. Was Martin really getting that room ready for Gypsy leading up to this?

Damian died of overdose on prescription medicine................how convenient........MM?

Sorry to just jump in randomly but I had to make mention of the really odd, inappropriate comment/conversing that the original M.E., Dr. Friekke, made in a telephone call between Martin and herself in the days immediately following Michelle's death..

I mean odd and inappropriate do not even appropriately describe the strange exchange between these two that Alexis testified to today in court.. IMO it really just gave me a bit of a shivering chill and really has made me question the mentality of this Medical Examiner, Friekke..

The specific portion of the exchange between the two that I am speaking of was admidst the discussion of Martin describing how he had found Michelle slumped over into the tub, along with telling the M.E. what medications Michelle had been taking at the time of her death..Martin MacNeil then asked Dr. Friekke the following:
"Did you find anything abnormal in performing the autopsy on Michelle?"

Dr. Friekke replied:
"Yes, I found that she(Michelle) didn't have a uterus."

To which BOTH HER AND MARTIN then had a good laugh about!??!... Oh hahhahaha!.. So very funny isn't it? My answer is HELL NO, I FIND NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY AMUSING, COMICAL, OR FUNNY about the fact his newly deceased wife didn't have a uterus due to having had a hysterectomy years prior!.. I mean what the hell is so funny or even noteworthy of mentioning about it??..It in fact made my heart start racing, my BP climb, and sent a shiver down my spine of just what the hell kind of Dr was this M.E., Dr. Friekke??

We already know what an {unusual person in EVERY way} that Martin MacNeil is and there for I am not in the least surprised that he would make, or find such an inappropriate comment to have been quite amusing to the point of chuckling out loud..but to know that this M.E. is actually the one to have made the comment, and that she too had herself a good, outloud chuckle alongside Martin over the fact of her making mention of his newly dead wife not having a uterus..well, it was just beyond bizarre even for a case that has turn after turn after turn that are of a bizarre nature, but this M.E. and her exchange with Martin just really, really threw me for a big ol' loop and has left me really wondering exactly what kind of person this M.E., Dr. Friekke was???...

IMO really its of no surprise that this doctor officially found Michelle's death nothing but just "natural causes".. This woman, Dr. Friekke, IMO is questionable TO SAY THE VERY LEAST...and yes, I am fully aware that this woman is deceased now, herself, and I do not make a habit of speaking ill of the dead, but this was just TOO MUCH to not make mention of it and ask was I the only one who had such a visceral reaction to hearing Alexis testify about this exchange between her father and Dr. Friekke that took place just mere days after her mom's death???

Anyhoo, I'll cut myself off here with ranting/raving about this particular issue, but just wanted to see if others were as baffled and offended by this as I was..

Again my apologies for just butting in here with my opinion and questioning about the original M.E., Dr. Friekke..specifically the exchange between her and Martin about his NEWLY deceased wife's autopsy.
