I think it's also possible the media simply mixed it up.
They found her clothes.
They found him.
It doesn't mean they found them together.

They have found things in a couple of different places LE said, that are linked to Elizabeth and lead them to believe she is also close by.

I'm guessing those are her clothes... because how many things can be linked to a 5 year old? I'm guessing they found the skirt or pants in one place, shirt in another, etc.

Maybe a favorite blanket or stuffed animal was also missing which alarmed Mom as well. I definitely think the clothes were what was found in multiple places though, I just can't think of what else that could be.

"(It) also links them together outside the home. We have several of these scenes that we have located that have evidentiary items in that we have now tested and have evidence that they were together."

I agree. But, I’m going to move along from further discussion of this since it’s becoming a trigger.

It’s not in the police affidavit, which deals with specific reasons they have for holding him. It’s been in MSM, ever since they arrested him.

I'm a small weakling woman and my kids are 40 pounds-ish. I can easily carry them anywhere I need or want to. Yes, dead asleep they are heavy, but 40 pounds is nothing.

This is a 20 something man who walked/skated everywhere because he had no car. He was in good shape. I am also a small woman and can easily carry my 5 yo girl in her sleep.

This guy was in shape and almost certainly adrenaline fueled. He wasn't going to have any issues with carrying a living or recently deceased 5 yo.

I have no idea how long he kept her body in the house, if that’s where she was killed. I do think it took some time for him to prepare/conceal her before leaving.

I don’t either. I think what they found on him is much more disturbing. “Several search warrants were obtained and executed throughout the night on several crime scenes and for evidence from Alex Whipple’s person. The evidence obtained from Alex Whipple was tested and there are confirmed forensic evidence from Elizabeth Shelley located from off his person.”

I have an English Bulldog, she weighs 47 pounds. Hates bath time and I have to chase her down and carry her to the tub. If I had to carry her for a mile or more I might not bath her ever again

From what we know about him, he sounds undesirable as a house guest. I think his housing needs are a moot point for him from here on out.

You might be surprised. My kids (weighing at the time more than 40lbs) fell asleep in the furthest points of Disney World the whole week we were there. I’m a woman and frequently carried them sleeping 1mi or so. If ES was in a fireman carry, AW would likely be able to go pretty far.

I think if she were dead he wouldn’t have been carrying her very far just because that’s really suspicious although most are asleep at that time of night, but if anyone saw it that would’ve been quite strange and if they left at 6am even...that’s even more suspicious if people are outside and awake. It was after 2am and before 9am so there’s so many different ways that happened. MOO

Agreed, really thought she would be found today. There's still time, less than four hours of sun in Logan City.

While I agree that this would explain why they haven’t found her yet, IMO if he was coherent enough to steal and return a car completely undetected, he would have thought to just go back to sleep afterwards so as not to draw immediate suspicion on himself. Or at the very least grab his skateboard after to make a faster getaway.

I wonder, as ES hasn't been found, could he have driven her, and passed her on, to another person/accomplice?
I guess, with further searches, evidence, CCTV etc we may find out.
