Exactly. Posts made by family members seem to reveal a pretty dysfunctional group.

My gut says that we aren’t even close to knowing the entire story of this little girl’s life and fate.

That is certainly a possibilty.

What alarms me though even using 3am until 7am time window so much territory can be covered in four hours in any direction even reversing directions, and so much prolonged harm can be done to the kidnapped child.

When sex predators kidnap, rape, and then murder the child... the child is usually murdered within 45 minutes up to two hours from once it began.

I'm sure the dogs picked up their scent, right? So at least they know the general direction?

However the scent must have been lost at some point. Do we know if they had a scent leading from the home, and how far it went, and stopped?

Is there any possibilty he could have found an unlocked vehicle with the keys in it... then used it, and brought it back before daylight? Tia!

Was out most of yesterday and last night, just caught up. Nothing really to add to all of the great posts.

I see a press conference upcoming after they talk to the family?

Things of notes after reading a large number of pages to me that stood out--all of course, if even true and the media has it right:

His burner phone left at the home.

The statement that he resided with mom, the bf and the child. If so, he did not exactly pop in that night if he resided there, I would think it would be stated, he arrived "home" at such and such an hour. Seems a bit contradictory. If true of course.

The fact they want info on where he was the night before. Not unusual but is it checking an alibi or determining if someone else knew something, how he got there, what he did, etc.

The fact that surveillance being asked for has been all over the place for the hours wanted. I read at least four different time ranges asked for footage I think in different article links, if not more.

Clearly he had some money on him if he bought cigarettes and beer.

Just a few things that stood out to me in reading all--there were a few more, but I forget.

A news org calling for volunteers when LE has stated they do not want that seems pretty audacious, is there some reason they would do that?

I also cannot believe she has not been found. If he lived with them, did he have friends in the area/neighborhood? That is a big if as from what I have seen, only one twitter account I think states he lived with them. As in many cases, there is quite a bit of conflicting information. The clothing is one, it has both been stated none was found on him and stated that clothing of hers was found on him. At least in what i have read from the start, imo.

It has been stated he came over late and they all stayed up until 2 (in the beginning), now it is stated he stopped by at 2. Again, if he lived there, that is not exactly stopping by.

Confusing as usual.

I would like to know more about the living situation, and the day and evening prior for he and everyone else.

Just some thoughts I had catching up on the posts brought to mind. Nothing new really, just saying what others have as well for the most part.

I have not been "downstairs" to catch up yet.

Bottom line, as always, another beautiful child who did not deserve this!

I agree 3-7am is very concerning.
So hope someone has found video of him at daybreak.
We can assume he’s on camera, we just don’t know how many.
Hoping the PC brings some good news.

I think about all of the people involved in looking for Elizabeth Smart, the people who took her didn't have a car either, and it was three live people, literally camping out in Salt Lake City, and she was not found.

There are so many places to place a small child...I hope that she is found. At least there are not alligators in Logan, UT.

If he lived with JW and ES, he could easily have had local hideouts - places in a field, by the river, or an unused building he would go to. Very much like the Elizabeth Smart kidnapper had an underground hideout

And when this first all was posted, on page 1 of this thread, their description of him has him wearing a suit. A bit unusual for Friday wear for a fellow that has not been described as be employed. How was this determined?

Yes and another article posted that the person who saw him in the convenient store said he was in a hoodie with a button up type shirt and tie and they thought that was weird. Not a suit like with a sports coat or something. It’s confusing.

**ETA never mind! I just reread it,... it did say “ "He was wearing a gray hoodie. Underneath that hoodie, was a kind of a suit and tie, something really weird."

But if he was high on meth who knows, people have been known to stay up for days,and perform superhuman feats. So traveling a long distance carrying a 5 year old is not necessarily out of the question.

In the general area of that field (if I have figured out the street numbering system) are several commercial buildings that one would expect had surveillance cameras on them - the ministorage facility, an electrical (contractor?) company, the Pepsi Plant, some other contractor shops, and homes that could have surveillance cameras, the 7th Day Adventist Church
