Her page is pretty nasty with all those guys saying...well, nasty things. Lord. I can't even deal!

So wait, her track just ended at the club house? Is that normal? Why would it just stop there? That confuses me... I don't know much about tracking - anyone care to enlighten me?:blushing:

I agree. I live about 45 minutes from Charlottesville and the Morgan Harrington case is still on my mind. That guy is still out there, despite a profile, a sketch and DNA from a previous crime he committed in northern Va. I also still think he is in Virginia or visits Virginia often because of a job or family. And he will certainly strike again. So, I think that possibility is always in the back of my mind in a case of a very young beautiful girl. However, it could certainly be as a result of an Internet connection or some type of stalker. I doubt she left on her own, but anything is possible. Hoping she is found safe but not having good feelings about the car being located, no cell phone activity, and no trace of Alexis.

Morgan Harrington's case haunts the Charlottesville area and certainly the local law enforcement since it was never solved. There is a lot of "old money" there, and UVA people always like to say it is the "Harvard of the South" (I'm a Va Tech fan myself). I think they are taking it so seriously with the FBI ect b/c they are worried they have a serial killer on their hands and have a lot of pressure from local influences. They want to feel safe and not be known for this. What wealthy family wants to send their daughter to a college with a serial killer on the loose? Morgan Harrington went to Tech but her parents were well off and I know they want justice as well.

Ive been following Arnita Cheatham's (is there a thread here?) murder too, as well as Alexis Murphy's disappearance.
Sylvester Matthew Cheatham is extremely dangerous and on the loose in the very area Alexis went missing.
Family says Arnita's husband had a history of stalking, and that Arnita woke up Wednesday morning (31st Jul) to the sound of him banging on her window. Sylvester Cheatham had just been released from jail a few days prior.
Family says Arnita Cheatham, who went by the nickname ‘BaBa', was trying to get her husband to sign divorce papers after 22 years of marriage, but he refused.

The family says on Wednesday night, Sylvester told Arnita to meet her at the Executive Inn motel, and he'd go ahead and sign the papers.

According to investigators, Arnita was found Friday with blunt force injuries to her head.

Now. I have found a tweet from Alexis saying she is in Madison Heights on Wednesday afternoon and looking 'hot damn' or something.

Could she have went to meet SMC at the hotel room we know he is at? Could she be playing his hot young girlfriend to taunt his 42 year old wife, who only wants her divorce papers signed?
If so, Alexis may have made it away from the room before SMC killed his wife and be oblivious to how dangerous her new found friend is.
He contacts her a few days later to hook up and she disappears?

Would be beneficial to know his exact dates of incarceration, but I've had no luck with such searches on him.

Interestingly, a friend of Arnita's called 'Tyler Dallas' studied at the University that SMC 'likes', the only person in the world that 'liked' Perrston Uni :D So we have another account SMC was using. Weird pseudonym to pick eh?
 
Another possibility in this missing persons case. Alexis could have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Both of them are missing and the FBI is involved. It is something to consider.

BBM Where would they be "coming to see her". It almost sounds like she is performing somewhere? Just wondering out loud about that. I may have missed something though, as I know nothing about Twitter.
 
At her place of employment? I don't know...that is listed on her Facebook account. Or maybe somewhere else she references on twitter...she definitely craved attention!

The message from someone she obviously didn't know saying they were coming to see her for the first time - well, that's pretty alarming.

Is there any way to associate that message with someone who had contacted her on twitter?
 
This young girl is playing with fire, and I just hope some other young girls/women will learn something from this case.

Geez. 17 years old. Wayyy to explicit for 17.

If she is safe, I hope she can put a stop to this opening of her entire personal life. And if she is dead, I hope her family will eventually step out and raise awareness for other young ones who are also playing with fire.
