This is a must read blog link by someone on the ship the night of Amy's disappearance. OMG
I've been tracking this thread for a long time now and I seemed to have missed that link until you reposted it. Thanks!

I kept waiting for that guy to end the suspense with something like how he left his stateroom to get something to eat and he came back to find his master tapes gone.

That is Chris Fenwick. He was there during the cruise and he was a witness to a lot that happened. His experience was very important. For years, Chris has been a wonderful support system for the Bradley family.

Yes, thank-you for that.

That is why I quoted his blog entry as a must-read for Amy's case.

I could tell by his sincerity in his entry that he is genuine.

Is it redundant at this point to discuss Yellow?

It seems obvious to me, that the spin by the Cruise line, and their unwillingness to accommodate or take serious the situation of a guest, makes a good case for unprofessional and negligent conduct causing bodily harm.

It's really quite alarming and sickening, IMO.

Can anyone compile a list of known facts and confirmed sightings for Amy's case, with a timeline? I am willing to help, I am still researching.

Wondergirl, I posted a timeline back a few pages, but here it is,again. This is information that has been released to the public. I can help with as much information as I can say.

I will try to fill you in as much as possible on Alister Douglas "Yellow".
I personally believe that Alister Douglas and possibly a Portuguese waiter were paid to drug Amy and deliver her.

Alister Douglas was the bass player in a band called "Blue Orchid" on Rhapsody of the Seas. After the first day of the cruise, there were several crew members who were overly attentive to Amy. Even Iva commented the first day about how turned off she was by Alister's behavior. He was obnoxious. The waiter was also overly attentive.

The day that the ship docked in Aruba, the Bradley family rented a jeep and toured the island. When they returned, the waiter asked if Amy would go with them after dinner to a bar called Carlos and Charlies. This is the same location where Natalee Holloway disappeared, seven years later. I personally believe that Amy was supposed to disappear that night in Aruba. It would have been much easier than trying to take her off of the ship in Curacao. Amy told her parents that she wouldn't go anywhere with those waiters because she thought they were creepy. Amy stayed on the ship with her family. She and Brad won a limbo contest and then headed for the disco. This is where Amy ran into Alister Douglas, again. Chris Fenwick has the video of Amy dancing with Alister Douglas in the disco.

Amy and Brad returned to the family's room. The door logs show that they both entered the cabin. At 5:30, Ron Bradley awoke and saw Amy on the lounge chair on the balcony. I posted floor plans and photos of this arrangement, several pages back. Ron awoke again at 6:00 and Amy was gone. She did not have shoes and she only had her Marlboro cigarettes with her. By 7:00 the Bradleys were looking for Amy and they had reported her missing to Royal Caribbean. The family assumes that Amy went in search of coffee. At about this time, one of the waiters approached Amy's brother, Brad, and told him how sorry he was that his sister was missing. It was impossible for the crew members to have known that Amy was missing at this point in time.

In the meantime, there was a female passenger I will refer to as "E". "E" became ill a few days before the cruise and she was on heavy antibiotics. She couldn't go into the sun. She discovered that if she spent her time in the disco area, she could see a lot of what was happening on the ship. She was awake early because she wanted to disembark into Curacao. She had gone to the disco to wait until she could leave. While she was sitting there, she saw Alister Douglas and Amy get off of the large glass elevators and walk to the bar in the disco. Alister Douglas turned up the music in the disco. "E" then saw Alister bring Amy a drink containing a dark liquid. It appeared to be coke or coffee. "E" left because the passengers were preparing to disembark. Amy was never seen again, although Douglas was seen in the glass elevator by himself. "E"'s statements have been verified. She passed a polygraph and she did testify before a Grand Jury. One report indicates that Alister was later found asleep in his room. I personally believe that Amy was passed off to another crew member before she was removed from the ship. An important piece of information is that there is also a staff elevator that leads from the disco. Two college coeds also saw Alister Douglas in the glass elevators.

Alister Douglas was questioned by the FBI. His polygraph was inconclusive. He maintains that he doesn't know what happened to Amy. He claims that Amy had a drink in the disco with the band at about 1:00 AM and he didn't see her after that time. He claims that Royal Caribbean searched his room and found nothing. There was no evidence that Amy had been with him and the FBI never charged him with anything. After the cruise, Royal Caribbean fired Alister Douglas for fraternizing with a passenger.

In August of 1998 (six months later) an engineer from Canada and his friend were diving at the beach in Porto Marie, Curacao. His name is David Carmichael and he was shown on the Vanished program. David has been a wonderful help to the Bradleys. He has passed polygraphs and appeared for interviews. David was organizing his equipment, on the beach, when he noticed a woman and two men walking toward him. The woman had a horrified expression on her face. She appeared frightened. David began to respond to her, but one of the men with her ran between them. David said the man gave him a threatening look. David and his friend were later on the deck of the outdoor bar. They were sitting close to Amy and these two "handlers". David had full view of tattoos and other distinguishing things about Amy. David didn't know who Amy was until he returned to Canada and he saw her featured on a program. He immediately contacted the Bradleys and the FBI. Royal Caribbean sent their attorneys to David's home in an attempt to intimidate him, but he has absolutely maintained that the man with Amy was Alister Douglas.

Alister eventually returned to his native Grenada. He has reportedly found religion and he has been part of a band. He has had some other small business ventures. Douglas is married and he has at least one child. When the producers of Vanished were preparing to film the show, they contacted Douglas. They offered Douglas an opportunity to publicly give his version of the events. Alister Douglas refused to have any interaction with the program. After Amy's Vanished episode aired, Douglas contacted the producers and complained that he was innocent and that he was unfairly represented in the film.

This is the Ultra Sound Band from Grenada. Alister Douglas is third from the left.

Part of David Carmichael's identification of Amy included a very accurate description of her tattoos. He described these tattoos before the descriptions were actually available to the public. There is no question that David saw Amy in Porto Marie, Curacao in August of 1998.

Foul Play Suspected
in the mysterious disappearance
of U.S. citizen in the Caribbean

FOUL PLAY is suspected in the March 24, 1998, mysterious disappearance of AMY LYNN BRADLEY...a vibrant, beautiful and intelligent 23 years young girl who recently graduated college and has a very promising future. She was on a vacation cruise with her family in the Caribbean at the time of her disappearance.

AMY is an American citizen who 'vanished' while aboard a foreign vessel in international waters. She was leisurely traveling with her mother, father and younger brother aboard the cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas (a Norwegian Flag Ship) which is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines of Miami, Florida. The cruise ship was near docking procedures into port in the island of Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, the Caribbean. It is known that Amy left her Cabin in the wee hours of the morning of March 24, 1998, with her cigarettes and lighter...predictably she was not wearing shoes because where she thought she was going, she would not be gone long and would not need her shoes. This is where the mystery begins! Who was Amy going to meet at this time of the morning? Why would she take her cigarettes and lighter? There are many questions here that need answering, but unfortunately neither Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines nor any Government authorities are providing any answers and, at this time, it appears that neither of these entities are making any inquiries at all regarding Amy's disappearance.

It is known that the last person seen with Amy in the early hours of the morning was a cruise ship band member of a group known as 'Blue Orchid' by the name of 'Yellow'...and, there were other crew members who spent time with Amy, as well...Katalin (from Hungary); Eduardo Cabrito (a waiter); David Cato (a waiter); and, Patrick (a waiter).

It is also known that Amy had no reason to run away...her background and her family's backgrounds have been checked thoroughly by the FBI and Amy shows no signs of a 'runaway profile' nor are any of the Bradley family members suspect. One scenario suggests that Amy may have willingly met with a crew member who she had come to trust who then put her in a position of coercion, or even more probable, Amy may have observed an illegal activity and become a liability.

There are many unanswered questions that require answers. Why would a multi-million cruise line not help in the search for Amy? To this date Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, owners of the cruise ship, have not cooperated at all with the Bradley family by way of information or assistance or cooperation.

Mainstream media is taking a very close look at Amy Bradley's disappearance.

The bottom line is that Ron and Iva Bradley went on the Rhapsody of the Seas cruise ship to the Caribbean in March of 1998 and came back to their home in Virginia WITHOUT their daughter, Amy. Brother Brad came home to Virginia WITHOUT his sister, Amy.

I personally think that she is probably being moved by small boats, private airplanes, and cars. The bigger airports and large cruise terminals are getting pretty sophisticated, even in the Caribbean. If Amy is being used as a drug mule, the dogs and scanners will pick her up. She is a high profile missing person, so she is on all of those computer lists. They have no doubt given her false documents for travel purposes.

According to law enforcement I have spoken with, the smaller ports, harbors, and airports don't always have sophisticated equipment. I have been told that some places in countries like Jamaica don't even have computers in their smaller harbors. They still do Customs and Immigration by hand with paper and pen. There are small private airstrips all over the Caribbean and northern South America.

Amy has been seen in a number of different places. The sightings have been verified. We know she has been moved in and out of different countries.

We also have to consider payoffs to Customs officials in different locations. Amy is being moved the same way that drugs are moved around the Caribbean.

There is something called the Venezuelan Floating Market in the Punda section of Willemstad. Each morning, wooden ships arrive from Venezuela filled with fresh produce from the Venezuelan villages. The distance between Curacao and Venezuela is only about 40 miles. Someone could very easily be hidden among the produce and vegetables in these boats. The boats dock along the canal in Punda, which is directly across from Otrobanda. The boats create a floating market for the people of Curacao.

If Amy found the cruise workers so creepy then why did she dance with Alister and why was she seen walking with him and him carrying her drink that morning?

Just wondering your theory on that...

I have no way of knowing what Amy was thinking. It was the waiters who she referred to as creepy. Alister Douglas wasn't a waiter and he wasn't one of the ones who asked her to go to the club in Aruba. Maybe she was just being nice when she danced with him in the disco, while she was there with Brad. I have no idea how or why she connected with him in the morning. I suspect she was looking for coffee.

:rose: Amy is our featured cold case from 8/19/12 to 8/26/12 :rose:

Thank you so very much to those of you who have been sending information to the Bradleys about Alister Douglas. Alister Douglas is not considered missing. He is living in Grenada where he is married and working with a band. He also has a few other businesses. He is very involved with his religion. He was offered an opportunity to take part in the Vanished program, but he declined.

Alister was questioned by the FBI, but his polygraph was not conclusive. He has never been charged with a crime because there has never been any proof that Amy was actually kidnapped. Alister Douglas is a free man and he can live his life in Grenada.

Is it possible that Carlos and Charlies was a factor in Amy vanishing, and do you think that Amy's disappearance could be related to Natalee Holloway's disappearance?
