Part of me is glad that maybe a search for AJ is happening the other part of me is full of dread at what they could find .

Yes, straight shot to NC on Route 17 by Dismal Swamp. Very recognizable spot based upon the sign in the photo.

This is right down the Chesapeake Expressway from me!! And Chesapeake PD is out there, not NPD. I wonder what this is all about.

Chesapeake PD is also investigating a shooting from last night on Wickford Dr. So that could also be involved if the shooter went south toward NC.

With that many civilians I would think this was a civilian initiated search party and not a police one. Did they find something or just draw enough attention/make enough noise to have the police join?

Is it normal to have family and friends involved in a search and rescue that may be viable? So many don't allow that for a lot of reasons.
