This was included in that article as well...
The fourth victim, Mark Niederbrock – Emma's father and Kelley's estranged husband – is believed to have been struck with a chunk of wood and perhaps the maul as well, the sources said. A maul is a heavy, doubleheaded tool with sharp, splitting edge as well as a blunt, sledgehammerlike face.

His sister is an idiot.....He was set up? REALLY???? I understand defending your family, but there is nothing to show that he was set up. She must have been smokin' or takin' mushrooms when she posted that.

Well, before we jump to conclusions let's examine her specific claims:

1. No, there is WAY more to this ****ed up situation then the media is gonna let out.

2. There is no truth behind anything you have seen or read on the news.

3. He was setup...i cant say anything but let me tell you.

4. After all this is done, everyone is gonna feel real ****in stupid.

Unbelievable? Possibly, but there weren't any witnesses. McCroskey doesn't seem to have any visible blood on him in any picture I've seen of him. Why? He called the police. Why?

And let's remember that he's (so far) only been charged in one crime.

So I'd say we can't completely rule out her story either.

Well as for why there was no blood on his clothes, isn't it possible that he could have washed his clothes? I mean wouldn't he have stunk even if he washed his clothes if he were in the house with dead bodies for a period of time?

You may not want to say it, but I will.....she's got issues too.
1) I'm sure there is more to it than the media is letting out

2) No truth to anything we've heard from the news......Are you kidding me? Yeah, they just made up the whole situation.....put your weed pipe down and get a clue.

3) Let's think clearly about this situation......who would set him up? None of the SKR people came to Farmville and set anything up......he did it, he's a crazy freak that went nuts and killed or helped kill four people......I say helped because I'm not beyond thinking one of the girls helped him and then he killed them.

4)No, she's gonna feel real dumb for making jacka$$ comments about this whole thing.

I know it's not PC, but let's stop beating around the bush and stop feeling sorry for this kid or making excuses for him......HE'S CRAZY!!!! I know a couple of police officers who went to the crime scene and said it was the worst thing they've ever seen, but didn't give any more info than that. The kid is sick in the head, I don't care who knows him and says different. He may have been a "normal" guy to them, but normal people don't do what he did.

I agree, he is indeed crazy.. hell his whole family seems insane. I see why his sister has the issues... parents need major help along with sister..

I wasn't trying to make excuses for anyone. I found something related to the case and posted it. It's up to you to draw your own conclusions from the known facts. I am merely reporting what his sister said.

As far as the condition of the crime scene, the brutality of the murders seems notable obviously but that doesn't tell you much about who did it immediately. They haven't released the information we'd need to know to draw that conclusion for obvious reasons. So far (to my knowledge) he's only been charged in one murder. We don't know anything about the forensic evidence and IMO that's going to be critical to this case.

You cant teach common sense, so don't bother trying. Unless you believe certain people of SKR are just as much the murderer as Sam McCroskey is, and you dont mind calling innocent people murderers, its best to just keep quiet. As ridiculous as it sounds you almost have to believe in some absurd JFK like conspiracy in relation to this case to make any sense.

There are other possibilities...you just have to remember what is fact and what is speculation.

Some possiblities which I beleive are still compatible with the known facts at this stage:

A third party could have committed the crime, someone not associated with SKR possibly.

The father could have done it and Sam then killed the father.

The girls could have been involved somehow.

I am not arguing for any of these theories, just pointing out the limitations of the known facts.
