I know there was mention of the SKR people joking that if one of them ever killed someone to say that Jesus made them do it. Has anyone mentioned the line form Sicktanick's song "Take the Devil's Hand" that says, "When I make you kill a person I make you do it in God's name?"

I don't think Sam was made to do this by other people, but I do think their music supplied him with the ability to do what came next. Maybe by imagining he was living one of the songs he liked so much he was able to seem so calm. Kind of like telling yourself a lie over and over can lead to it becoming the truth in your mind. It gives you the ability act calmly when confronted about the lie (obviously this is a much larger event than lying).

Has anyone tried writing to Sam since the address was posted?

I think that being able to video tape and show things to others leads to an escalation of the level of these events. Kids always bullied each other but showing it off on the internet gives them a goal to make it better than the others.

I used to ride dirtbikes, that was pretty much how I spent all my free time when I was younger. A group of us would build ramps and jumps to see who could go the biggest. For the most part we stayed safe. The minute somebody whipped out a camera, all worries about safety were forgotten. We had to have something awesome to show off, which usually lead to concussions and broken bones.

Well I understand that reaction. But let's dig a bit deeper. In this song he's initially talking about the devil influencing people and making them do things. He mentions several serial killers and uses extreme language. But in the third verse he's laying down his true intentions here...

In other words, it's all in your head. There is no devil, there is no evil, except that which create ourselves. We all have to take responsibility for our own demons and for those we manifest in this world.

SickTanick says he's a "modern" Satanist which means he doesn't literally believe in the devil any more than he believes in a capital "G' God. At one level occult practices can be viewed as extreme forms of self analysis and psychotherapy. That's what he is talking about here.

Further he believes we are all gods or at least have the ability to become gods if we choose to do so.

Of course Sicktanick wasn't the only one. He just seems to be the main topic. In fact I feel bad for him in a way. Due to his involvement in this whole deal he has had extra attention. I think it is clear that Jesus was in part rejecting the old testament. The famous line "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is from a story where Jesus stands against the stated old testament (torah) punishment for adultery which was stoning for example.

From my Christian point of view calling evil good is a sin against God. It is simply lying. "Not bear false witness against thy neighbour:". That is all I am going to say about it.
