Probable cause for home stemmed from contents of car.

Actually Chief Longo's statement earlier today was very specific. I need to paraphrase slightly because this is from memory, but Longo said in answer to a reporter's question that while police were on-scene for the purpose of removing that vehicle, probable cause developed allowing them to seek a search warrant for the apartment(s). But the vehicle had not been searched at that time.
