I guess we have a lot of perps with no idea of textual (literary) or content analysis. Some people write and, one would imagine, text, in specific manners and styles. A text saying going to Norfolk would sound ridiculous coming from a young girl living over 3 hours away at that time of night.
So right.....also sounds like someone who knows the criminal system. The first thing LE will do is go check out the tip in Norfolk. As Margarita eloquently said, "Red Herring".

Sorry if I missed this: when did the text for the Norfolk party go out? They should be able to connect/find the tower ping or whatever it's called. And was it on kid's phone? Old woman clarifying, apologies.

Henry, thanks for the map!!

This article makes it sound like the text was from Jholie’s phone...

Jholie Moussa told her sister she needed to go out for a minute. Zhane Moussa sent her a concerned text and got an odd response.
"She texted me that she was going to Norfolk," Zhane Moussa said. "And I'm, like, isn't that more than 3 hours away?"

(Ugh, unfortunately I learned that term very well in Jessica Ridgeway's case, when ARS disposed of her backpack in the opposite direction of her remains, purposely to throw off investigators...)

This is a victim friendly site and there is absolutely noooooooooooooo indication that Jolie was into anything illegal, but since I'm an MMJ patient/huge stoner and old hippie and do not consider Marijuana to be bad as some others do, I am going to throw this out there: I am getting a little bit of a Kaitlyn Cargill vibe. Again, be easy on me as I'm not saying this is the case, but if so, it would not be a surprise as she is 16, and some teens this age do undergo periods of experimentation, etc. I can not think of many other reasons someone would just run out real quick, people not be cooperative, etc. What is there to hide?
Yep....but feels like:
Meeting a man that family won't approve or
Meeting a man that is married or
Meeting a man who has criminal ties or
Meeting a man that makes her feel grown-up, or dangerous, or
She thinks she is in love

You get the picture...

I don't usually say this, but maybe I need to go poke around SM as far as the FB group goes...I feel like I'm maybe missing something here...

Eta: ugh, well that didn't last long...ran back here as quickly as possible...FB just isn't my thing!!! If there's anything interesting, please link with an "initials" cue, tia.

The same article states that she told her twin of her plans to go to Norfolk before she even left the house that afternoon!

"Jholie Moussa left home in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County on Friday, Jan. 12 after telling her twin sister she was going to a party in Norfolk, nearly 200 miles away."

My read, opinion only, that is a summary statement and not the details. There is overwhelming confirmation from MSM, that the text only responded with "I'm going to Norfolk".

I asked my son, who had been stationed in Norfolk & lived in Portsmouth (in a 150 yr old apt full of mold & ghosts) whether he could have been Navy but he said not with hair like that. So I thought ex-Navy or something, someone who had been around, seen the world, might look/sound more suave than your average teenage boy. Just throwing it out. JMOO, etc, et.al. What have you, contemplation, consideration, bouncing off Henry.

Thanks, Irishboy, I agree. Bad reporting. It was reported from the beginning that Jholie did not tell her sister where she was going when she abruptly left the house. It was only through that text (3 hrs. later/somewhere around 8 p.m.) that Norfolk was alleged to be her destination.

In my opinion, she didn't send that text. It was the perp.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying here. What do you mean by ‘not with hair like that’? Can you explain further?

Hey Everyone I put together a timeline of events regarding Jholie's disappearance and murder investigation of FACTS as reported by the media and family in the Bring Jholie Facebook page. If you believe that there's something I forgot that is a true fact from a credible media source I'm more than willing to edit this time line accordingly. I will not edit in opinions or hearsay or rumors. I thought this may be helpful for some newbie case followers or just followers in general.

Somewhere up-thread it was stated that the boy playing basketball said the man who asked to use his cell had hair with short twists, I believe like short dreads. That's too long for any military branch, AFAIK.

I Wonder why they didnt have the boy help do a composit sketch photo.

Since it's being investigated as a homicide they likely are, as well as getting the cell locations for the text and calls from her phone.
LE is being very close to the vest on what they have (i.e., what did the people interviewed say?)

Pure speculation...I think the 12yo boy knows more and is cooperating w LE, and probably is the one who led the police to Jholie’s body (general area, not necessarily specific location).

Why do you feel the boy led the police there?
