'It didn't happen how Mr Depp says it did'

Under cross-examination, Dr Richard Gilbert says he saw in a deposition that Amber Heard had said the tip of Johnny Depp's finger tip was potentially lost when he was smashing a landline phone against a wall.

Heard's lawyer Ben Rottenborn tells the court Heard said she saw Depp smashing the phone against the wall but had said she did not know definitively how the injury happened.

Dr Gilbert says it is correct to say he has seen no evidence to say there was glass in the wound or bruising elsewhere. Depp's story about how the injury occurred means the bottle didn't injure his fingernail but did wound the finger underneath, Mr Rottenborn tells the court.

Mr Rottenborn says there is another explanation for how the injury occurred: "It didn't happen how Mr Depp says it did."

"I cannot make that assumption," Dr Gilbert says. "Nor can you."

such a good point about no other injuries on the hand

Indeed. I did wonder if he was going to point out the obvious issue with AH team making much noise about there being NO other obvious signs of injury, you know such as battered and bruised up knuckles from repeatedly punching the wall by AH head.
Obviously they decided it spoke volumes all on its own!
