Sadly, there is nothing new about Kathleen.

Just FYI, Hubs is in the NN area for work. He came home for a visit last weekend and I asked him about any missing women from there, he has heard nothing nothing nothing.

This is what is so frustrating! Her family and friends should be doing all they can to keep her in the public's eye, even if LE has nothing to go on regarding this case. I'm not judging her family, maybe they have their own reasons for remaining silent, but SOMEONE should be doing something, IMO.:banghead:

There was so much blood found in Kathleen's apartment, and LE says it was hers, so IMO there's little doubt that Kathleen is dead. But she deserves to be more than a nameless skeleton in a field somewhere.

And where's Molly?

I wonder if this is a case where LE is working behind the scenes and may even have someone in mind - but without a body, they don't want to prosecute... So the case goes cold and someone is getting away with murder...

I know in the Megan Landowski case (a 13 year old girl murdered in her home) it seemed as though the police weren't doing anything because they weren't releasing any information. I'm hoping it's the case here. I still believe that whoever kidnapped and possibly murdered Kathleen is in the military and possibly deployed.

I'm never giving up that she and Molly will be found.

This new case (link below) reminds me a bit of this case - in both, LE suspects something is wrong because of the apartment, and something been taken from it. In both, victims are missing.

Be interesting to compare how this new case goes forward, compare to the way it appears Kathleen's case is not.

This may be unrelated, but human remains were found during a drug-related search of a property about two hours away from Newport News:

Regarding the case I mentioned that reminded me of Kathleen's case - well in that case and arrest has been made! Now that was fast work by LE!! So different from poor Kathleen's case.

Me, too, but at this point, I am irritated beyond belief. What about the dumpster findings? The stranger (or was it her brother-in-law) going into the apartment after Kathleen disppeared? Blood everywhere??? There was even a sketch of a POI sent out via MSM early on. And where IS her family???

This is one of the saddest cases I have ever seen. It's like all Kathleen's family and friends and LE vanished with her. Are disappearances so commonplace in NN that they are shrugged off???? It's like a gag order is in place, but this one says "we don't care." Shame on them.

Another bump for Kathleen. I haven't forgotten about her and Molly. Any time human remains are found, I e-mail the local authorities with Kathleen's info. I also follow up periodically with Newport News LE.

I feel sad that it seems we care more about Kathleen than the people who knew her.

I pray she'll be found some day.

I wonder what else this guy has done. I somehow doubt he waited until age 29 to start commiting acts such as these. I have been looking at Sharon Jones, missing from Norfolk since 2002. The locations are only 6 miles apart. I would be interested to know where Graves lived in 2002. He was in the area as early as 2001.

Phylicia was killed by Graves in October 2012. Kathleen went missing on Sept. 1, 2012. Newport News is about a 35 minute car ride from Norfolk. I wonder if Graves frequented Newport News, particularly where Kathleen may have worked.

I still check the internet daily for any articles about remains being found, and I e-mail the appropriate LE agency with Kathleen's info. I'll keep doing that until she's found.

I guess it's about time to start pestering local media for a follow-up story.

Poor Kathleen.

Phylicia was killed by Graves in October 2012. Kathleen went missing on Sept. 1, 2012. Newport News is about a 35 minute car ride from Norfolk. I wonder if Graves frequented Newport News, particularly where Kathleen may have worked.

Graves looks nothing like the police sketch in this case, but that doesn't mean anything. I'll forward his info to LE in case they haven't checked him out.
