Whatever lady, you should have raised your sons to be somewhat human.
BOTH Vick brothers are no good.
His family sucks.
Well...that's my opinion anyway.
 
I loved the jeers and boos he got yesterday when he was walking into court! It gave me goosebumps and made me proud of those people out there. I'm silly, I know, but it really made me feel good for one second.

I watched it a few times because I so enjoyed it.
I honestly do not think he feels what he did was a big deal. :loser:

Some role model he is, he makes MILLIONS of dollars and fights poor defensless animals that depend on him for thier well being. Then when they lose, he has his cronies dump water on them and electrocute them?

I made these banners, yes they are sad to look at, but this is the reality of dogfighting and the sad truth needs to be told - these poor dogs can't speak for themselves!

I must admit, I was oblivious to this kind of thing happening before Vick and the media publicity. I can only hope & pray that with this publicity and the public outrage, that harsher penalties and larger fines will be made law in all states.

If anyone wants to use a banner for their MySpace or whatever, help yourselves.

Please - write and email your local governments to make stricter laws against animal cruelty!!

Looking at those poor dogs makes me MORE angry than ill. No animal deserves to be abused like that. Yeah...I booed at him too watching him on my tv.

I'm glad they won't sell his shirts or shoes!!!!! Anyone caught wearing anything that's making Nike & Reebok money for Vick needs their azz kicked.
 
We Did It! Nike Drops Vick

Dear Buzz,

I know you heard from me earlier today or yesterday, but I wanted you to be one of the first to know: Nike announced today that it has suspended Michael Vick's contract without pay and will stop selling all Vick-related products at its stores.


This is a big victory, one that simply would not have happened without your action and those of more than 165,000 others.

As you know, the allegations against Michael Vick are so serious and disturbing that The Humane Society of the United called on his corporate backers to end their commercial relationships with the star player. I’m so pleased that Nike has signaled it has a zero tolerance policy for athletes who may be involved with staged animal fights and other forms of malicious animal cruelty.

Nike's statement reads as follows:

“Nike has suspended Michael Vick’s contract without pay, and will not sell any more Michael Vick product at Nike owned retail at this time. As we’ve said before, Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. However, we do believe that Michael Vick should be afforded the same due process as any citizen in the United States, therefore, we have not terminated our relationship.”

Also today, Reebok agreed to stop selling Michael Vick-branded products. The company does not have a contract with Vick but has an official relationship with the NFL to sell its merchandise.
