She never observed either parent to be outside at the times that Noah was outside. She said that he was outside playing quite a bit.

The tank is 6 inches deep so whether he crawled in or was placed in there, he would have to be laying face down or on his back. I highly doubt the child would be capable of putting the lid back on from this position. Unless the lid was off since before he was missing. As bad as the smell is though, wouldn't the smell be a deterrent even for a five year old?

From that article:

Sources say the tank is 4 by 8 feet and 5 and a half feet deep. The septic tank holds about 1,000 gallons.

Are there other homes or a road that potentially could see the septic tank from their house or the road? Curious if someone else could have seen him placed there.....if that's what happened. Jmo, but from the beginning I sadly believed this was going to end in bad news.

I wonder if there is foul play how the community will react.
Be afraid to allow children out in there yards?
I just read the uncle says LE as not ruled out foul play and then lost my link.
Just wondering out loud about what kind of people moved into the house courtneyb after your cousin moved out?

@NewsOrly talks with the guy who cleaned out the septic tank where #NoahThomas was found. More on that coming up. @WDBJ7

I think I'm okay sharing this as well... My cousin Angel said Noah and her girls played together a lot in the shared yard. She said Noah was sweet and curious and friendly with her girls and her fiancee. He was very interested in the motorcycle that her fiancee owns. He was, however, very shy/standoffish with Angel. She said she only saw Mom once, when she came from inside to the porch and told Noah to come inside. She said she never did see the Dad. Noah's parents and Angel's fiancee both rented from the same elderly gentleman, who she indicated was a very responsible landlord.
It sounds like Angel or her fiancee were the adults outside while the kids were playing around the yard so maybe she was watching from inside. I think people will want to read more into it than we should here.

We know the dad worked during the day so it doesn't surprise me she didn't see him, but it is curious he wasn't out on his days off. Maybe they were shy people.

I guess your sister was gone before the new baby was born and added another element to their household. Maybe the mom had a difficult pregnancy or something during the months prior though. We have no way to know, but I am trying to figure out the timing there.

Is this considered normal for that area with a 5 year old? Where I live a 5 year old would never be let to play outside alone. I live in a very safe neighborhood, but it is a very populated and busy neighborhood. I have two 5 year olds in my family and their moms don't ever let them out to play alone. Ever. Even in the fenced backyard.

Right.. the white house near the road in the front was her house.
Yep, the landlord is the one who had spoken to the media talking about Noah, said he was like a grandfather to him, and Noah was a very good boy. I can't find that link yet. His house is right next to where your cousin lived where they were also digging. I'm wondering if that's another septic tank where the orange cone is located.

I have had a question from the beginning that has bugged me. I thought I read that the mom said he had on a jacket and boots when he was missing. Is this bc she saw him last wearing this or bc she noticed it missing? Or did I misunderstand?

Where do you get that the tank is 6" deep? It may have only been down 6" underground, but the article states it is, "Sources say the tank is 4 by 8 feet and 5 and a half feet deep. The septic tank holds about 1,000 gallons."

The area where the white pipe is sticking up is also referred to as a septic mound. You can usually tell them b/c there is more dense grass/vegetation there from...er...fertilizer.

Hopefully it still contains the fingerprints of all those who have opened/closed it recently.
Does it just pop off or does it require tools to remove it?? I know the kid didn't put it back on. The tank is only 6 inches deep.

I read that while searching through house the coat was gone so it was assumed he was wearing his coat.
If he was an outdoorsy type of boy, then he would self sufficient enough to put on these articles of clothing to go out and play. JMOO
BUT was he found wearing the boots, coat and Pokémon cards???

The jacket being reported was because she said she noticed it missing. I don't know about the boots, but assume she reported him wearing them last time she saw him. The pokeman card tin was reported to LE (but not to media evidently) because it ended up on the NCMEC flyer.

My opinion on that is that if I were going to let another adult supervise my child in my stead, is that I would have at least poked my head out to introduce myself to the adults that I was letting supervise my child. Just my opinion. :)

..also Noah's mom has an infant child - could she have been suffering from postpartum depression ? -
If she is depressed it would make her want to sleep and not pay attention to Noah..
Maybe she should have not been left alone with two children-etc?

Just talking out loud..

Sorry I must have misread it.

It is Angel's understanding that the new tenants are the ones who set up and run the Help Find Missing Noah Thomas facebook page...
