There are some things that are quite off (like the tattoos and scars) which mean that she may not be a match for Jane Doe but I still think that a decent amount matches, enough for me to do a bit of a double take. The time between Roberts' disappearance and Jane Doe's discovery is in the ballpark of 6 months.

Hair Color: Red/Auburn; long brown/auburn hair, with long bangs and bleached tips
Eye Color: Brown; Eye color listed as light brown or blue in reports

Scars/marks:
- 2 1/4" healed, abdominal scar, c-section possible
- Outside left lower arm, multiple old scars, possibly sutured previously, near elbow
- 1/2" scar on the back of the right hand near the thumb
- Flat, poorly pigmented scar at the hairline

Other distinctive physical characteristic: Two moles note on chest: 1/8" brown, between breasts 1/4" blue, upper left chest

I can't speak to this lady. There were 2 reported deaths in Richmond on February 8, 1977, due to freezing temperatures. The article does reference the body of a female being found, except the article states the woman's body was recovered behind an abandoned building, so I don't believe this to be the Doe in question.

She had so many sets of clothing with her!
I guess she was either transient (but homeless usually wear layers and also carry other necessities such as cooking ware with them - though she was found apparently after living in an abandoned house, which may explain it) or hitchhiking or traveling for some reason, taking a full bag or suitcase with clothing with her.

My first thought was that her husband/partner/somebody like that put her body there and threw out her clothing with her.
