Ok, so I have to admit I'm slightly "three sheets" ), if you know what i mean, as a result of my wineful celebration, I'm feeling an incredible sense of "justice has been served" with a healthy dose of love for all of my websleuthing friends.

****Aside, Rose, you are truly special and restore my faith in the average American.

With that said, lets flippin' CELEBRATE. JEEZ, I am so thankful for so many things right now. (can't get any smilies to show how I truly feel, sorry).

No, that is not correct.
This was just the first phase of the trial, she will still be allowed to wear non jail clothing to court.

Wendy Andriano was wearing street clothes at her sentencing. When Jodi arrives at the Lumley Unit, Perryville Prison, she'll be issued the orange outfit she'll wear every day for the rest of her life. As her second day with Flores showed, she's not a fan of orange. Her new mug shot will be interesting.

NG on HLN reporting JA hasn't been transported yet to the county jail & there is a problem. Heated words going on with JA's attorneys.

:banghead:

Arpaio isn't there.

Jodi Arias has no soul at all.None, zip, nada.Never seen a face that cold. She got what she deserved!

I am, indeed, delighted in the finding of a true verdict because it is justice for a young man brutally slaughtered. We've all seen that money and celebrity (and poor jobs by jury, i.e., Pinellas 12) can deny justice for some victims.

Happy, I am not. Nothing can bring Travis back to life and the hole Jodi has left in the hearts of his family & friends is never going to heal. We all know that.

I have no sympathy for Jodi Arias. Travis' friend said this was the first time she was held responsible for something she's done in her life. I won't pass judgement on her parents and family, I'm a mom, and I know there is pain.

In my mind, the murder of one is as great as the murder of 100, and I think Jodi needs to pay the ultimate price for killing Travis: death, she doesn't deserve to draw breath on this earth. All my own :twocents:

I'm so thankful that this jury had the intelligence to understand Circumstantial Evidence. Justice for Travis was won!!

only wish I could say the same about the Casey Anthony fiasco.

Each of those jurors voices were so strong with determination and certainty that I truly believe she is going to get death. everyone of them had zero doubt that she plotted and planned the slaughter of this beautiful human being who so very many love..

I believe that she will absolutely pay for that with her life and so she should. she is evil and she stared down everyone of those jurors as they were each polled..

Re BBM
Yes, I couldnt believe she had the gall to stare at each juror with cold evil look. Like it was the jurors fault she is convicted of murdering an innocent man in one of the most violent ways I have ever heard.

And when they left, she stepped to the side of Wimcott to give more evil eyes to them

I'm just imagining how haggard Jodi is going to look the next time we see her.

Oh, OK. I didn't see that part of his closing, and was just going by HLN and WAT tweets. :)

The explanation you mentioned makes a little more sense, but still there's something legally wrong/circular with the argument, IMO. Not that it matters AT ALL with a unanimous verdict on premeditated murder.

Could those 7 jurors found felony murder because they believed Jodi stole the gun from her grandfather??

I'm happy. I'm grateful. And I'm . . . . I don't know what the word is. All I can think is, what a waste. A waste of Travis' life. A waste of all the things he might have done. A waste of years of his siblings' lives. And even a waste of Jodi's life. She had everything this world has to offer: youth, attractiveness, health, you name it, she had it. And she threw it all away because all that mattered was her. It's sad. But I'm so, so grateful for people like Juan Martinez and Esteban Flores, who stood for the people of Arizona and all of us here.

* Hope someone will post the foreperson's nic. My guess is Maureen.

* Re JA fracas with her DT, it could be Jodi asked, "What do we do next?" and JW/KM replied, "There is no "we" now."

* Re felony murder, I thought JM tossed that in for any juror who didn't believe Jodi arrived with Gramps gun. Even if the gun she fired into TA was his, she had no right to leave the house with it after she'd butchered him, since TA was in no condition to give his permission. That's burglary.

This was probably covered long ago, but if you're referring to JAs words to Willmott, she said, "who is the jury foreman?" Willmott didn't get her Q so JA repeated, "who's the foreman?"

Maybe that's not what you were referring to. If not, then never mind ;)

I saw that a number of us responded, there's always a rotten apple in every bunch. Maybe Jean C will report on that later.

Well I guess I better go back to being spiteful and jealous since that's what we're all about LOL... Where's my damn mirror!?

Hahahaha!! Dat funny.

I though that i heard the verdict correctly, but decided to double-check. i was right. Per David Lohr at HuffPo:
"Five jurors voted Arias was guilty of premeditated murder and seven voted that she was guilty of premeditated felony murder."

That feels good.

A few musings:
Now maybe Nancy Grace can stop acting like a drooling idiot. Last night her topic was "Is Arias jury set to acquit?" WTF! She either was being disingenuous for the sake of controversy and ratings (likely) or she is out of her gourd. (I do not wish to create a false dichotomy; it could be parts of each).

Jodi did look rather sad when the verdict was read. I heard someone gasp. It might have been her if the audio was not sync'd properly. In any event, she was not smug when she heard the work "guilty."

Now is the time for me to visit that other site and post a message for Jodi. The moderators will delete it, but not before they read it. I have simply one word, repeated five times for them: Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah!
