Jean Casarez is not the only journalist on this case who is either embellishing, fabricating or perpetuating bald faced lies and/or misrepresentations. Michael Kiefer is the other. There, I said it.

Supporters of murderers (aka as seen through Jodi/Donovan's tweetage) really exacerbate when the guilty verdict is about to come down and exacerbates for about 2 weeks after the verdict is rendered. I've seen it in every trial I've followed.

This is utterly incomprehensible to me. Why, in good conscience, would someone want to side with a murderer? Why root for someone who destroyed scores of lives?

I wouldn't have believed they were doing that, but they really are. The motivation behind it still escapes me though. It's just sick and sad.

They are oppositional by nature. There is always (at least) one in every crowd. They feel the need to be different, to root for the underdog (to an irrational degree), to persuade themselves they are preternaturally intelligent, sensitive and intuitive, to be able to see and understand what the masses are clearly missing. They must elevate themselves by separating themselves. It makes them special, better, more evolved.

There was one Walmart in Salinas in 2008. The second did not open until 2010. I think Juan knows what he's doing.

Did Juan ask that of the walmart witness? I don't remember seeing him ask. I know we have verified that but how do we know the jury knows this fact? I mean Nurmi objects every time Juan referred to the lieing about returning the gas can because he wants to jury to believe she returned it elsewhere.

I feel that Juan should have covered all the bases in the event that Jodi tried to alter her story. Now we know exactly why Nurmi had no questions for Walmart lady. Jodi told him it was a different Walmart. There are two Walmarts in Salinas and both of them should have provided reps to testify that Jodi returned no gas cans. That would have shut Nurmi down because Jodi also said that she did not leave Salinas with that third gas can.

I think the exact reason Nurmi didn't question the Walmart woman is that he knew Jodi lied outright about the gas can.

I'm sure he knew in 2008 that there was no 2nd Walmart in Salinas. (It was opened in 2010)

Any questions would have made him look like a fool.

If she told him she returned it to a different Walmart (not in Salinas) he would have had someone up there to testify.

Sometimes it's not such a good idea to draw attention to things.

And personally, two gas cans was pretty suspect to begin with. Not exactly like she's going off-road 4-wheeling.

Chris Hughes also indicated JA's 18 page letter to TA's family was a doozy. Apparently, she went into great detail about the ninjas' attack. Didn't she tell Flores in their first interview that if she'd killed Travis she'd have told his family exactly how it happened so they'd have peace?

All of these tweets by JA, even if through her minions, are clear proof of her sociopathy. There is no remorse, no shame, no contrition, no compassion...just antagonistic might and fight and spite. She lacks class and displays a complete lack of proper decorum.

Exactly, and if you notice, in one tweet she mentions only being able to avoid trial was by suicide and the next tweet she talks about being more fortunate than the indigent with the mini-surplus of foods she has. Good gravy.

They don't need to. There could have been 200 Walmarts in Salinas in 2008. JA herself testified on the stand that she took the can back to the very store where she purchased it. Moot point. Nothing to see here.

But she SAID she returned it to the same walmart. It's in testimony!!

You should be able to see something on your screen about removing an existing quote or keeping it. At some point you must have hit the "+ button.

Strawberry Margarita Jell-O Shooters
Yields 24-30 Strawberry Margarita Jello Shooters

Strawberry Prep:

1.Cut the bottoms of the strawberry flat to get them to stand upright. When you do so, make sure that you do not cut off so much that there is a hole at the bottom.
2.Use a huller or apple corer to empty out the strawberry.
3.Once the strawberries have been emptied, use a towel to pat the outside of the strawberries dry.
4.Check each strawberry and make sure there is not a hole in the bottom before you start filling.
Ingredients:

Margarita Mix:

1 box Strawberry Jell-O
8 ounces tequila, preferably reposado or blanco
6 ounce Cointreau
Salt for garnish
Instructions:

1.Boil one cup of hot water in a saucepan, then add in Jell-o powder and whisk until powder is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Set aside. Measure out 1/4 cup of cold water and set aside.
2.Combine tequila and Cointreau, in cocktail shaker filled with ice. Add liquour mixture to cold water and stir to combine. Then add cold liquour mixture to hot Jell-o mixture and stir to combine.
3.Pour final Jell-o mix into strawberries and chill overnight. Dip your finger in water or use a moistened brush to wet the edge of the strawberries, dip and rotate the strawberries in salt to rim. Garnish with cut lime triangles to finish.
