Re: Dr. Horn.......I am sure he did not type up that report. He is a doctor, not an administrative assistant. He clearly admitted it was a typo and IMO was quite embarrassed about it. Does NOT make his a liar. He has no agenda other than performing autopsies. So why in the world would someone fault him considering ALV did not even write a report and changed he mind repeatedly or Samuals who repeatedly regraded tests til he got them to back up his craziness. Or the other guy....who has never conducted or even seen an autopsy.

I have a very long dentist appointment at 1:30...supposed to last 1.5 hours (crown prep), so I can almost guarantee that our verdict will be reached and read at some point while I am helplessly caught in the chair with a spit straw hanging out of my mouth and a drill destroying one of my teeth, and no way to access websleuths.

I hope you are all happy with the sacrifice I am making so you can celebrate the guilty verdict early this afternoon.

I do too, since JM proved definitively twice, via the Arco receipts in Pasadena and the Tesoro receipts in SLC, that JA purchased more gas than her Focus and 2 gas cans would hold. End of story, unless someone believes she poured the excess gas on the pavement next to the pumps.
 
JVM read text from Beth that Mitigation specialist is at the courthouse. Beth asked her if she was there on another case and she shook her head no.
 
I joined Websleuths for this trial. I didn't know what to expect or how I would be accepted, that being said, YOU ALL are some of the kindest, supportive, and loving people I have ever met. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your support and kind words.

Oh, Jodi..... Lady Justice is coming for you. You and your sub-human self.

Thank you for sharing, Wagara. And to all the others who have shared their unique & lovely experiences. Each time I read one, it gives me an added dose of faith and hope - for justice - yes, and also deeper gratitude for the human spirit's graceful ability to seek and find goodness, and then pass it along to others. It is a gift.

Remember one of the pictures of Travis' life provided by family or a friend, the one where he is playfully smelling a yellow flower? I said to myself, yep this man Loved Life and wasn't afraid to show it! It's like Travis is saying "watch this, it's called 'stop and smell the roses' Life is beautiful! Be thankful to God!" That's how it made me feel. For anyone unfamiliar with the flower in that pic - I'm quite sure it is a Brugmansia, also called "Angel's Trumpet". I happen to have a plant like it, also a yellow variety, which I moved to a sunny window a few days ago...

...and now here is a gift I would like to pass along...my own Angel Trumpet plant suddenly bloomed yesterday! First just 1 flower that filled the sunporch with a beautiful fragrance. Then another flower this morning, along with 3 more new buds. It will soon look very festive :)

If I can get a good pic of it, will share it later. Meantime, I'd like to add this to the positive thoughts for today.

I don't believe this is true. From all accounts I've heard/read, it was more of an "initial" assessment/comment when Flores 1st met with horn either at the crime scene or possibly in the morgue. Point being, dr. Horn made a comment in passing PRIOR to performing his autopsy. It is common from what I understand, for the lead detective to ask the ME, "so what do you think?" As one of the ME experts on Dr D (the guy who likes to wield the knife while he talks) stated, Dr. Horn should have said, I'll let you know when I write up my report." He went on to say, most MEs don't respond that way, and will offer a theory of what looks like the cause of death before their full examination of the deceased.

Moreover, regardless of the spin by DT, the MEs report states gun shot last, and the forensic evidence supports his findings. Travis's heart was no longer beating when he was shot!

Although this is just my opinion, I feel the evidence backs me up :)

And in other news....morning! Hoping today is the day!!!!
