On HLN they said the Peterson jury took seven days. I remember listening to the radio at work when the verdict of GUILTY came down. Oh, happy day that was!
Some smart sleuther here said that 7 days includes a long holiday weekend. That they actually deliberated 12 total hours over a three day period.

I'll take the slower thoroughly thought out verdict, rather than the quick one CA got any day.
That said, I hope they come back soon. lol

The only thing I can comment on is what's been said about her behavior in court.

If I was in her place I'd want to wrap my arms around the Alexander siblings, and probably apologize for the actions of my daughter.

Harvest
Exactly I'd want to do the same!

I just had audio again in the court room.

I think that they may have a verdict as there is some movement inside that court room; they keep turning it on and off (the audio) it's on my bose speakers so it's really sensitive.

Which feed are you watching?

You sound like me! And I'm only 5 ft! :floorlaugh:

Unfortunately I am 5'7". My daughter is 5'8" and 115# and my son is 6'3" and about 160#

My mom is 4'11 and wears childrens sizes and my dad was 6' but never bigger than a size 34, so trim family genes.

Ahh same here. I can't fast too often as I feel weak. Whole milk, real butter, cream, cheese...eating all that to get to a 110 pounds.

It must be as frustrating for those trying to add weight compared to those who are trying to lose weight.

Whoops - I lost my quoted post. This was in response to the 7 day deliberation of the Scott Peterson trial.

Arent 911 operators instructed to stay on the phone with the person until an officer arrives? I thought that was standard. This call repulses me. I want to climb through my TV and give that poor girl a hug for what she has been through! That employee had better be identified and FIRED! Disgusting!

I appreciate your opinion, but I feel that the chance of that coming home between the time the operator hung up and the police arrived home and doing something awful to the remaining girls was too great for the operator not to be fired. It's like quality assurance for any job. I think this person is in the wrong line of work and should be escorted out of it. JMO.

:stormingmad:
shame on him for that...

Once it is saved to your computer with the .gif extension, you can open it to look at it. Right click > Open with > Internet Explorer. Other browsers may work too, but I always open .gifs with IE.

I don't use IE, but for the IE users that would be good to know. Haven't used it in ages and ages.

So what are people here thinking now about the 10:00 am start today? The jury obviously didn't come in at 10:00 am because they had reached a verdict late yesterday afternoon and wanted to start fresh today... Unless someone slept on it and had doubts this morning and they're redeliberating.
I guess maybe JC was right or one juror had a personal reason for starting deliberations an hour later than their chosen schedule.
There was so much speculating that it was a positive sign, now I'm worried again.

I don't understand people saying he should be fired. I have listened and relistened.

can you imagine being him? As he was typing and listening and trying to process what he is hearing?

He didn't sound as if he didn't care to me. He was continually assuring her a car was coming.

:twocents:
Yes but sometimes; tone is everything. He seemed totally distracted and never reacted Once to things like:
I've been kidnapped for 10 yrs
I'm Free Now
the fear in her voice. Sorry no retraining; this one would be fired if I had any say.

I just saw it on tv and posted above about this.

This is strange, I thought the 911 operator was a she.

However, he or she was talking to this terrified girl and all the 911 operator said over and over was for the girl to talk to the officer when they got there.
You could tell in this young girls voice that she was terrified the kidnapper would be back and find her. NO COMPASSION to me.

!!! IKR !!!

And said it several times, as in - its my break time, chica. Gotta go - sorry for your luck.

Duuuuude, I just escaped after being held prisoner for a decade - and there are others - and I got a "talk to the hand".

Unfreakinbelievable.

While I'm not pleased with how this call went down, the dispatcher did appear to eventually grasp, somewhat, the seriousness of the situation and did ask if she was at a neighbor's house, and told her to stay there with the neighbor until officers arrived, and that they were on the way. We don't know what else was going on at the time that the 911 operators were handling, or how many calls were in the queue. Things can get very very busy. It would have been better if the operator stayed on the line with this particular caller until officers arrived, but you can imagine how many phony calls come in that sound just like this one. I would like to know what the other side of the call went like. What was conveyed to units and how quickly they arrived, before coming to any conclusions. Is there room for improvement? Surely.

It took me a year just to add 10lbs. It's so hard.:scared:

Then I see those 10lbs ended up in my arms and chest! omg

Right. Let's fire everyone for not doing a job exactly like we think it should have been done. JMO.

I've been out running errands. I'll have to leave soon to run more errands.

I put it on HLNTV (satellite) and I see there is still no verdict.

On the lower right of the screen, HLN has a Verdict Watch "timer."
It is currently at: 8:53:07 (8 hrs. 53 min. 07 sec.).

I hope I will be home when the verdict is read.

I hope Jodi Arias is found guilty of murder in the first degree.

You're probably practice dancing too much.....
Sit down and have a cookie every now and then....:floorlaugh:

:floorlaugh:

I promise to do that once we get the verdict! I have no idea when that will be. I'm in a verdict daze... :scared:

I relate! I don't know how old you are, but up until my mid 40's I had the same issue. Am at 120 now and holding steady - there is hope :)

I will be 52 in August. After I quit birth control and menopause hit I went to 92, so I have gained about 10# in the last 5 months.

Pinkie
Maybe so but her moms behaviour in court and the disrespect for the Alexander family has been evil and improper. Making fun of the family and laughing at the autopsy photos is just pure pure evil. No excuse for that immature evil behaviour.your daughter butchered a man in cold blood! what's so funny about his autopsy pics and why why show such disrespect for the family. Show some class (arias family)
The Alexander family has suffered so much and aside from that don't you wonder what effect their behaviour had on the jury. Here you see the travis family crying, visibly broken, than you look over and there sits sandy and her sister! Giggling it up and at times directed that laughter at the family. Please that's just not right.
you are so right it disgusts me to see that...but i know The Alexanders have too much class to do that "When" the time comes for JA's death penalty and I hope it happens soon....:banghead:
