Well heck, I am going to have to put myself in TO and concentrate on work tomorrow.
I will have to wait on the text. I wasted today so now I am under extreme pressure.

Word. If I spend another day like today, I'll be working until midnight for the rest of the week to catch up.

Of course, now that I've vowed to concentrate only on work tomorrow, the verdict alert will go out at 10:30A.M.

My Mini Schnauzer has been very patient with me today.

Going out to walk him - and get food.

back here tomorrow!

On this celebrity/infamy sidetrack:

My daughter, who is now 29, got married two years ago.
I answered MANY, MANY frantic phone calls, emails and FB messages when our out of town friends and relatives received the Save The Date cards which said:

"my daughter's name" and Drew Peterson
graciously request you save the date...etc.

I can't even count how many times I had to explain it was not THAT Drew Peterson!
(She tried to get him to use Andrew so as not to get so much flak when filling out paperwork, making reservations, etc and he refuses. Some nonsense about being traumatized by being called Andy as a child :banghead: )
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

:floorlaugh: Can't believe how fun those calls would have been!!! I have a friend with the last name Castellano, we were in NYC and went to little Italy for dinner. She made the reservation and we were greeted like royalty. Free wine and dessert, we just managed to hold our laughter, she's a N'awlins Castellano btw not related to Paul.

The felony murder rule isn't all that complex but it sounds like it is.

She is guilty of felony murder also imo.

She came to Travis' home and brought a gun with her and even if she was invited in beforehand (which we will never really know) she becomes an uninvited guest the second she starts to feloniously attack Travis. In felony murder one does not have to commit a theft. It is considered burglary because she was considered an unlawful person in his home at the time she attacked him.

And even if the jury believes she shot him with his own gun (I don't believe they think that for a minute) then she is guilty of a felony by using his gun in the commission of the murder and then stealing the gun and taking it with her.

IMO

Thanks. Does it matter in regards to the DP how many jurors vote for pre-med vs. felony?

Ok peeps, time to take a step back and all take a deep breath. This is NOT the CA trial or jury and the continual comparisons are making me nuts.

Remember, this jury has been listening to the trial for four months. They are now finally able to decompress and compare notes. Justice is coming, just not as fast as we want. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and stop speculating.

I believe that the jury has made a decision, wants to go home and be with their families as for one full night as they are to be sequestered once the verdict is given and goes into the penalty phase. I'm sure they want to get affairs in order before they get sequestered and can't go home for the length of time it takes for them to finish the penalty phase. It's what I would want if I was a juror. Make sure I have all my toiletries bought and packed, one great home cooked meal, a night to cuddle my babies (hubby, sign. other, pets) and have a full nights rest. JMO

How do you know that they will be sequestered for the penalty phase? Thanks/

I see the NG producers have uncovered the JA is ripping her "art" off from magazine advertisements. I suppose we already knew this?

Thank God for Tricia's radio show. We got Chris for 3 hours uninterrupted. Dr. Drew's show would be so much better if he had a third the number of guests and fewer "segments". Then there could be some depth.

I quite like the fact that the jury stated they would not be back until 10:00 tomorrow. If it were me, I'd be laughing about that fact alone. Think of how many times the jury was jacked around in terms of court time. It's about time they get to call the shots. I trust this jury.

Yes, and to think poor widdle Jodi will be there at the same time every day regardless of when things start... pooooor JA all alone in her holding cell.... Gawd, I'm not nice tonight... Back to lurk mode for me.... :floorlaugh:

Are they really sequestered in the aggravation/penalty phases?

If the jury all votes for M1 but are split between premeditated and felony murder, will we ever know what the vote count was?

They may have come to an agreement on their verdict at the end of the day, felt relieved with their decision and that is why it get louder right before 4:30. Who knows? Maybe one of them said something about "no jury will every convict me, mark my words" and they all cheered! 10am. Either someone had an appointment or they have a verdict. MOO

TWITTER ACCT JUST SUSPENED!! thaks every1 that vile acct was just suspended 30 secs ago - god some ppl are sick!!

Really?!!
Oh that's great news!

So sickening that she was able to play to the public, whine about her commissary order, speak badly of Juan, etc.
Just wrong!

1st amendment rights ... I get that.
But I doubt our forefathers never meant for our rights to be twisted into evil the way JA has been doing.
Yeah!!

Well, that's interesting. Perhaps they know that they will not need the entire time frame before they present their verdict to the Judge. :please:

That's what I'm wondering as well, especially since they were the ones who originally set their 9 - 4:30 schedule and could have previously stated a 10 o'clock start for Tuesday knowing someone had a schedule conflict. I'm hoping that they announced the late start because they know they don't need a full day of deliberating and that they wanted the extra hour to dress in up in their finest "guilty of murder one" clothes! :floorlaugh: A girl can dream, can't she?

I'm trying to ignore what I just heard from the renowned pessimist Jean C. :banghead:

It's very easy for all of us to expect a swift verdict when our own shoulders will never bear it's weight or finality. A jury should never be begrudged for its commitment to absolute certainty before delivering a verdict.

True but I don't want any inherently indecisive person to be subjected to an exhaustive hashing and rehashing and rehashing again only to trigger the now decisive person back into ambivalence.

lol

You're right, of course.

Now I know good news has to be coming in the form of a verdict tomorrow...I just got the grade on a very complex literature review I had to do for class on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and I got 99%. YAY! It was one of the most difficult papers I've had to write and I'm in my last year of my bachelors.

Good things come in three's so I'm thinking my grade, guilty murder 1, and DP :skip:

This is totally opposite of what JC is saying. She says they look serious and pensive, like the are not in agreement. BK says maybe they have a verdict and are waiting till tomorrow....

Ok...I am going to say this out loud..finally...JEAN DRIVES ME LOCO IN THE COCO!!! I have started a weird twitch whenever she comes on...I have tried to keep to myself because she us not entirely awful but seriously.....DRIVES ME NUTS!!! Beth Karas could tell me exactly what I DON'T want to hear and I would swallow it just fine... Thank goodness for Katie W tweet..when I heard Jean C talking about hold outs on the jury t:facepalm:hought I would scream!

Does anyone here think Juan is worried? "I see no hands." Let's just chill.

Jean C. on HLN saying she saw the jury come out and said she saw a different expression on their faces - they were focused, so intent, she feels that they were at odds with each other and she saw an expression on their face like mild agitation

How come that differs from what Katie Wick said? Can we chalk it up to Jean C and her usual negativity? (I can only hope anyway) Jean C usually frustrates the heck out of me !!

It's all ratings.......Trust Katie Wick or wait for KCL to report.

Donald Trump on NG. Whatever. He let Jodi follow him on twitter. There is no reason why he is on that show, other than his ego. He is ridiculous. ... like he is some Criminal Profiler, or Death Penalty expert. NOT
