Jean C. news report:

she is sitting inside the courthouse and someone next to her has a Juror nametag on...even though it's for a completely different case.

GOD I LOVE HLN :floorlaugh::facepalm:

I know can you imagine? I heard that too and went whaaaaaaaaat?

Gosh yes I'll have a nervous breakdown waiting that long? I wished I was born a talking fly today. I'd be in Jodie's fly bugging her! Than fly off to the jury room to hear whats going on :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

How does chat work .. I don't understand chat .. chat is scary :scared:

Give it a try. You're under no obligation to stay. If you want to use your WS username, that would be great, but you don't really have to. There's an Acceptable Use Policy here irc://www.serenity-irc.net/aup

Click Smelly's link for the java based chat or go to the Serenity IRC channel and join #websleuths

I'm thinking that Donovan and Jodie mom and twin are having a giggle FEST over the tweets! Jodie composed and dictated. Is it far fetched considering their behaviour in court?

BBM.... Oh that name :stormingmad: sitting on my hands, sitting on my hands, I promise you mods I am sitting on my hands when it comes to this :censored:

well, the only way i see this not coming back first degree is if someone believes HER. that's the only way it could happen.

how could ANYONE believe her? about anything? him being an abuser. him having a gun. him attacking her because she dropped his camera. her returning the gas can. losing her phone charger. renting in redding because of priceline. being in a 'fog.'

HOW????

Well, not that I believe it myself, it could also be something else altogether. Someone could not necessarily believe Jodi's story but would think poorly of TA's conduct with Jodi. They could believe he strung her along and maybe he got what he deserved. NOT THAT I BELIEVE THAT. But it's possible that they may not want to convict someone of 1st degree (even if the evidence and law says that they did) simply because they believe the person had it coming. I'm sad to say there are people out there that are that ignorant.

But having said all that I still don't think we have anything to worry about, at least I hope we don't. But I wanted to add in another way to look at why a jury may not come to agreement right away with a case like this and with facts like we have in this murder.

Jean C reporting 3 more jurors escorted to elevator.

More sodas? Butterfinger from vending machine? Smoke break?

Probably, but I want what's in that picture in your post! That looks delicious!!!

every time Jean C. says a Spanish name with a wicked accent on purpose, I punch myself in the face 3 times.

She gets on my lassttt nerve for some reason. My husband thinks she's adorable...I want to punch him in the face three times when he says that (but he would call ALV on me!).

As media hypes the #JodiArias verdict (yes I'm part), remember there is really NO chance she will be acquitted. #ThisAintCasey

Pay for Jury Service
Will I be compensated for jury duty?
Yes. Jurors are compensated for mileage if they appear the first day but do not serve for a trial. Mileage is currently calculated round-trip from the center of your zip code to the court building. The current rate is 44.5 cents per mile. If selected to serve as a juror for a trial, you will receive $12 dollars for every day the trial lasts, plus mileage. Checks are sent out a week or two after your service has been completed.

Arizona lengthy trial fund (See Also FAQ below) provides for jury service reimbursement of lost income, up to $300/day. Completed application and documentation of lost income must be received and notarized by the Office of the Jury Commissioner within 30 days service. All application forms are available online or from your trial court staff

Even if they come up with first degree....they would all have to read through to make sure that is what they want....that would take time.....i still think they are thinking first degree.

What is the problem? Do does the jury decide between LWOP and death?

That is the only issue I see. If the jury sees other issues, then I am wondering if they are relatives to the KC jury

The decision about LWOP or death comes after the sentencing phase of the trial. Right now, the jury is deciding level of guilt (or not guilty).

Maybe someone will interview Donald Trump again.

NO!! It's a good thing we aren't allowed graphics today. :floorlaugh:

I am so ready for a verdict! Even though it's been less than 11 hours, I want it over with. I can't imagine the agony the family is going through.
