Oh we want JSS to perform the ceremony at the courthouse....it is, after all, where we fell in love.

How sweet! And you already know they're all set up for video. And they have guards too to keep the other, ahem, ladies out.

Oh we want JSS to perform the ceremony at the courthouse....it is, after all, where we fell in love.

....but can you have bridesmaids at the courthouse?
My mitigation specialist inspired bridesmaids dress is almost half way done....

Yes, it is. Everyone should keep in mind that the defense is well aware that there is a statute allowing nondisclosure of this information. They want to preserve for appeal the argument that the statute is unconstitutional, so they have to make a motion setting up the argument even though they know they will lose the motion. You have to "go through the motions," so to speak, or you lose the appeal issue.

Ok, thank you for the clarification....the idea that she would seek an appeal based on something unconstitutional seems cray-cray to me, but what do I know!!

i don't get my hackles up about much, but there is a big vein of ageism running through this trial that really PISSES ME OFF!!!!

i'm about your age. i'm tired of anyone implying we don't know about life and new things and technology, and phone sex, and crotch shots, and kinky sex, etc. not ONE of those things is news to me or any other 'old' people i know.

has everyone forgotten the 60's and 70's???? i was 21 in 1970. think i did a few things? MORE than a few? you'd think right if you said 'YES.'

i've not heard one thing in this trial i haven't heard before. i didn't live in a cave all these years, for cryin' out loud.

:banghead:

What she said!!

I can remember when one of my son-in-laws decided to tell a dirty joke and my daughter said, "Gram's here!" meaning my grandmother. Her reply was, "There is nothing new under the sun. I've heard and seen it all." Where to the 20 something's think computers came from??????

sounds like my mother. she said the same thing and it's true.

for those who aren't OLD yet, believe me, when you ARE old, you won't feel one bit different than you do now. you never change inside. you're the same person, even if what you see in the mirror doesn't LOOK like that person anymore.
and if anyone implies that because you're old, you're now out of touch, or unfamiliar with what's going on in the world around you, you'll be just as offended by it as i am. really. i live in the SAME world as everyone else does, and i understand it as well as anyone.

My hubby, who rolls his eyes every time I talk about this trial, just texted me from work to ask if there was any word on the verdict. :floorlaugh: I darn near fell off my chair.

I hope we hear something today. :please:

Yes, I'm in my mid 40's and the kids at work think I rode a dinosaur around in my youth. "Listen up, children, chemistry was not nearly as difficult a subject when I was your age because we only had 5 elements to worry about, Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Aether"

Omg :floorlaugh:

I guess you can't post a photo what with all the server problems, but as soon as we have a verdict, I expect a picture.

I would never follow her!

Haha someone *cough Donavan* keeps deleting tweets.
Like that makes them actually disappear from the internet.

tweets down to 38 now from 46

I followed Travis on twitter as a sort of tribute to him as soon as she turned up on there and started getting followers.

not for long...

I think the majority of her followers are people like us, TA supporters, just keeping an eye on things.

About an hour ago HLN reminded me of a carnival booth, where you could place your vote on which juror is or may be holding up the verdict when we don't even know there is a holdout yet. I could picture them giving some stuffed panda toy to the winner. I hope HLN understands most of us, I hope, are watching their channel for court coverage and not their exploitation of the Alexander family as just another game show. I remember when HLN had class.

BBM: Ya…now HLN is just the Kardashians of cable news.:floorlaugh:

Very well said, kscornfed! It's all about being respectful, and not just "assuming".
An aside-I lived in Kansas when I was a child, I have happy memories of living there.

Are those good? I'm gonna have to get one!

It's pretty good. I've never had a frappacino before (I don't know how to spell it either), so I was a virgin. It tasted odd at first but now I'm getting used to it. It's like amphetamine in a cup though!
