What if they want to look through more evidence of the crime scene to see how horrific it really was. Or look through things that Juan mentioned?

We don't know they are 'crawling in the evidence'. They could need just one exhibit number from the list - checking one of Nurmi's claims against Juan's. They must have a lot of unanswered questions about Arias. We still do.

When the jury questions were read, the judge referred to four questions but only dealt with three in front of us. I suspect the fourth question was about the deliberating juror wanting to switch with the alternate. That was dealt with earlier this morning and didn't need to be revisited just now.

Mere speculation on Beth's part. No one knows if the rumour is even true.

Uhm I thought one of the questions was can they look at their notes while by themselves on break and they said no, ONLY WHEN DELIBERATING. So they can use their notes in deliberation.

No they cannot use their notes in deliberations. They are for their personal use only. They did ask if they can use them during deliberations and the answer was no.

I don't like this twitter business any better than anyone else, but that includes the media, remember? They're doing the best they can do to get the information to us ASAP - does that mean there will be mistakes made or differing interpretations of what was said? Yes, they're human. But I just want to remind everyone that as frustrating as these things can be, the fact that it happens goes back to one person, not the ones who are trying to keep a shut out public informed.

Looking at the poll from Daisydomino, I was suprised that I'm only one of 9 from the 22-29 age group. We talk about a "young jury" being more inclined to vote for the DP, but 60% of websleuthers (that voted) are 50+ ladies/gentlemen and (seemingly) eager to go for DP.

Thanks for the poll Daisydomino, very interesting.

One thing to keep in mind... most websleuthers have been involved in this trial for 2 years. They see and hear things that the jury has not seen and heard. I bet the poll would be different if we didn't read about or watch the trial. At least that is my explanation because the polls were clearly in favor of death the 1st go round and look what happened. Also Casey Anthony trial same out come basically when all on here were sure she would get put away.

There was a trial that I followed here I believe in the last 2 years, and the judge would not give them a list. Nor would the judge give them what they wanted UNLESS they had the exhibit number. I was like WTF :pullhair: So, it is good they are getting this list if they need it for deliberations :moo:

Absolutely. I'm just astonished a numbered exhibit list wasn't already provided, as there must be hundreds of numbered "exhibits" jurors would have to wade through otherwise.

I've read her notes twice. Where are you seeing that she heard it as a rumor in a hallway? I don't see that, and I've never seen her include rumor in her notes. If she's not sure what's going on she says so.

At 12:32... And I quote her: "I did not witness this, nor did anyone else in the media."

Btw, Hope, my name is not Watson. :)

I worry that they won't consider JA one of "the worst" and will therefore go for life, since LWOP is a very severe sentence as well.

No one is reporting the actual source of the juror switch info. For all we know it could be one of the felons minions starting a rumor or some one heard part of a conversation not about this trial and put in extra thoughts to the statement over heard. Until there is an actual source admitting to this and how they know, I will say it is a rumor to get us all excited.

You're right....I hope. I am just very wary of them feeling a need to second guess or investigate the verdict of premeditation.

I am never afraid of truth. Juan's case is heavy with truth. The Defense is all smoke and mirrors so if they are looking they will see that too.

The more the media says LIFE, the bigger the chance that's it's DP. :p
It's either DP or hung.
I really don't think NG has much credibility. She's been wrong on many cases and doesn't get her facts right a lot. I just put it out there.

Didn't Troy say he was there? Maybe he has some factual info about it.

My understanding is they wanted to read them individually and they were told no they can only discuss notes during deliberation not while on break or silently reading to themselves. But that was just my understanding.

The judge told them they could not use their notes when on break or on their own. They could only use them when deliberating.

I think memoriesbymichelle is right.

Im 1985 and I know all my similar aged friends are DP friendly. We aren't a very sympathetic generation

im 1986 and the same. im not very sympathetic to criminals and would seriously hand the DP down more often than not
