Just an idea:

Would anyone here have the time, knowledge and desire to create a chart (or something similar) that would display/list any and all known connections the victims had in common? ANY possible connections... hometowns, working towns (streets and areas), businesses, pimps, friends, drivers, ads (such as all who advertised on CL, had Model Mayhem pages, used BPage), etc. While there isn't a great deal of info connecting the victims, I still think it would be very helpful to have it all in one place as maybe it would help us visualize/realize some additional degrees of separation/connection.

I'd attempt creating something like this myself but my RL is just too hectic right now.

it's plausible that TF or MK already have a white board of sorts in place

It is also possible that Jessica Taylor was the first victim and, therefore, "the key." (Assuming that that her case is indeed related to the GB4.) Jessica's killer went to elaborate lengths to disguise her identity, despite the fact that she was a relatively anonymous drug-addicted sex worker who had much looser family ties than the GB4 victims. So he may have known her.

i would agree it's possible she is linked (although dismembered), given she was last seen in JULY near the port authority-that's 2 striking similarities to MBB

I did, but I lost it (along with all my map work!) when my computer crashed last year. It's possible I posted the information I had back then on one of these threads, though. I'll look and see if I can find anything. Having said that, we have a lot more information now than we did then, so it would really only be the beginning of a current "white board". Someone would still need to fill in the gaps.

ETA: I'm all for starting a new thread for this "white board" topic, if someone wants to do that. A lot of information can be found here [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150050"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

Whoa! I was unaware of that connection. That is spooky.

Look through the pics for a girl in a faded pink hoodie named Beverly. Look familiar?

I think the girl looks a bit like Amber, except for her teeth. In Robert Kolker's book, it's noted that Amber had really bad teeth and was missing quite a few. I actually always thought she had dental issues (before it was confirmed anywhere), as the pictures I've seen of her never have her smiling with her mouth open.

The picture of Beverly shows a girl smiling, showing her teeth, and they all appear to be in fairly good condition. I believe Dave Schaller said her teeth were messed up when he first met her, and he met her very soon after she came to Long Island. So while I think there is a resemblance, I don't think it's her.

Per Dave Schaller, she was making up to $7,000 a week. She may have had her teeth fixed or gotten a partial plate or even implants. Don't know if anyone has noticed but KO looks like she has artificial teeth.

Also, I stumbled on this and it is creepy. There are only three pics there and no comments or friends are posted or listed. The one picture of Amber is really sad. It is not the Facebook page that I have seen where KO has friends and comment:

Is this really her page?

I need some help here..This is driving me nuts even tho I'm sure I know the answer and am having a brain fart here. But how did they know who ALC was when they found her body if she was not reported missing and had no phone on her? I was thinking maybe threw her finger prints but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't of been aable to get prints as long as she was there. Anyone know the answer?

Good question. Unfortunately, it's one I can't answer.

I *think* once it was announced bodies had been found and likely belonged to sex workers, Amber's sister (or maybe boyfriend or roommate) called LE to say she had been missing & it might be her.

See that's what I thought also because that's most would think. But then I watched an interviews one day where ALC's roommate was talking about how he found out and he said that the cops showed up at his house and said "oh they must have found Amber". Idk that could be taken a buch of different ways. But to me is sounded like a shock that LE was even at his door. And that he new she was dead...but that could just be a gut feeling from the way she lived her life. Idk one of them things I guess that will always bug me.

Okay, here's what I found. According to Kim, someone (we don't know who) called her after the bodies were found, and asked if she had heard from Amber. She said, "No. Why?", and that's when this person told her about the bodies of 4 escorts found in Gilgo.

I assume from this that Kim called LE and submitted DNA to positively idenitify Amber.

Kim states that "two detectives were at her door telling her that Amber had been identified through DNA"

Kim did NOT call the detectives to submit DNA for a match.

I'm not sure how you jump from point A to point B here, and then state your conclusion as a fact. Simply because detective show up at her door to confirm that Amber was identified through DNA doesn't automatically mean that the DNA wasn't submitted by Kim. Maybe it was or maybe it wasn't, but I don't think any one of us can accurately state, from the information available to us, how the DNA was obtained.

You need to speak to Dave -
he will tell you how AMber was identified.

A hair brush of hers or lipstick or used condom could all be of use to detectives. How is DS these days? Still walking the righteous path (as my online friend TS put it, who a miss....smart guy he was)
