On Tuesday investigators in Lakewood said Adhahn is a "person of interest" in the death of Adre'Anna Jackson, who was found dead in a Pierce County field in 2006.

Lakewood Police Lt. Dave Guttu said officers went back and showed Terapon Adhahn's photo to residents in the Tillicum neighborhood where Adre'Anna lived, and several people said they saw him in the area around the time Adre'Anna disappeared.

Police found "he is commonly known as a handy man in that area," Guttu said. "Stores or apartment complexes or individuals have used him as a handy man."

I just have a really funny feeling that DNA and other evidence is going to match him up to Adre'Anna.
 
If this had been deported when he should have, all of these little girls would still be with us (if he is the one that killed them). It just makes me so mad. Our laws are entirely TOO lenient on sex offenders. First offense, throw them in jail and throw away the key...or better yet, hang them in the courthouse yard.

I couldn't agree more. Just why wasn't he deported...did they overlook him?
Someone should be held accountable for that. Their oversight cost one little girl her life and no doubt more that just one. I hope LE had DNA from the other little girl so they can match it to that pervert.

Every state should have a one strike and you are out when it comes to damaging children and murdering children. Touch a child just once and you will never see the light of day again. Build more prisons if need by but lock these perverts up and throw away the key. That is the only answer.

seems like I heard that le took a picture of this creep into adreannas neighborhood and showed it to various folks, and some of those people said that they remembered seeing him thru there that morning. I strongly feel he is the one that did this to her. the way she was dumped and so on, I figure the reason he didn't drive her further away was because the weather was to snowy to make a long trip out into the rural country side. if he was working a construction job he would probably still have to show up to find out if they would work for that day, he could have showed up late or not at all and used the weather condition as a reason for his explanation. none the less, I feel he was out that morning, either going to work, or knowing kids would be out playing in the snow that morning.

Adhahn was an immigrant. Why wasn’t he deported after his 1990 conviction for incest?

Because federal law didn’t require it. Adhahn, 42, came to America in 1977. He became a legal permanent resident, but never filed for citizenship.

Under federal law, a single conviction for a “crime of moral turpitude” doesn’t warrant deportation for a legal permanent resident, Lori Haley, a spokeswoman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said Friday.

“One conviction wouldn’t render him deportable, because he was a legal permanent resident more than five years,” Haley said.

Haley added that immigration officials knew about Adhahn’s 1990 conviction at the time.

The same laws say a second conviction could have triggered deportation. Adhahn was convicted of intimidation with a weapon in 1992. The case was filed in Tacoma Municipal Court. Immigration officials didn’t know about that conviction.

Residents of the Tillicum neighborhood where Adre'Anna lived recognized Terapon Adhahn's photo when police showed it to them, and several said they remembered seeing him in the area around the time she disappeared, Lakewood police Lt. Dave Guttu said Tuesday.

"Some have indicated he did quite a few handyman jobs in the area," Guttu said. "We know he was in the area when she disappeared. Now we're just trying to firm up the timeline to the day and the hour."

Watch the story PARKLAND, Wash. - Adre'anna Jackson's mother says she wants no deals to drop the death penalty if the killer of her daughter is caught.

The Pierce County prosecutor did cut that deal with Terapon Adhahn, who is accused of killing Zina Linnik, in exchange for leading detectives to where Zina was left. The main reason the death penalty was pulled off the table is the belief she might still be alive one week later.

But in the case of Adre'Anna Jackson, her mother says she doesn't want any death penalty deal to get him to talk.

found this article, it may not be available long, but I do believe with all my mind that this man had something to do with adreannas death, makes me wonder why anyone would want to bury carpet material, unless it has blood on it which could be from the little girl. I hope that le checks with some of his employers from that time frame to see what time if at all he showed up to work, even if it was snowing he would still be out and about. I think he took that opertunity to go out that morning knowing that kids would be out. I doubt very seriously that any one other than adhahan is responsible for adreannas death, he knew that area on the other side of the freeway was a vacant lot and most likely either took her there before or after her murder, very similar to zinas case, I feel she was assulted inside the van and then he dumped her out in the woods, probably the same method with adreanna jackson. makes you wonder if he has traveled to oregon and killed there, including brook wilberger which is a bit furter away. appears this man was well experienced in getting his victims forced into his van.

Carpet might link Adhahn to Adre’anna

Less than two years ago, suspected child killer Terapon Dang Adhahn spent weeks landscaping an elaborate Asian-style garden in his sister’s backyard.
On Tuesday, Lakewood detectives spent hours tearing the garden apart. They drained a pond, removed a layer of topsoil and pulled carpet samples from the ground.

According to Rosalie Harris, who rents the house now, the detectives targeted the backyard on a tip from Adhahn’s girlfriend.

Police Eye McClellan in Unsolved Washington Murder

LOS ANGELES, CA. (Crime Library) — Police officials in Washington said they will investigate the possibility that self-professed pedophile Jack McClellan could have committed the unsolved 2005 murder of a 10-year-old girl who was kidnapped on her way to school.

I'm glad they are looking at this guy for this...it's possible he's done something way more than just talk about how to find little girls. He is truly disgusting. He wants attention for sure and maybe wants them to find out he killed Adre'anna since he had her info on his website. ::::shuddering::::

Whatever happened to that Adhahn guy who killed the little Ukrainian girl they were also looking at possibly about Adre'anna...did they rule him out?
 
Adreanna's case is still unsolved. Were they not able to link either Terapon Adhahn or Jack McClellan to her murder?
