I think everyone's thinking of the holidays coming soon. I know I am. This is mid November. Then December, January, February and March! It's only 3 months till the trial; not really very long when you think about it.

It will be a longggggg holiday season for all families involved. My heart breaks for them. Hugging mine extra tight!

This is a sad time for the Cowell family this first Thanksgiving without Mac. It's also the first Thanksgiving for the Zornes family without their son (in a different circumstance).... What a shame that several families are suffering... All because of Question ** What? **Why! ** Everyone on WS have a Happy Thanksgiving

Police make second arrest in Cowell homicide
Investigators today announced a second arrest in the Mackenzie Cowell homicide case.

Tessa M. Schuyleman, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday night in Tumwater on suspicion of first-degree rendering criminal assistance and obstructing a public officer.

A World reporter is working on a full report of the arrest. It will be posted shortly.

WENATCHEE, Wash.—Police made a second arrest Wednesday while investigating the murder of 17-year-old Mackenzie Cowell.
Officers arrested Tessa M. Schuyleman, 22, Wednesday night in Tumwater charging her with Rendering Criminal Assistance 1st Degree and Obstructing a Public Officer.
Schuyleman, a close friend of defendant Chris Wilson, was transported to Wenatchee and booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center.
Investigators with the Homicide Task Force first questioned Schuyleman in October following Wilson’s arrest after investigators connected his DNA to the site where Cowell’s body was discovered.
Police said Schuyleman claimed she had no knowledge regarding the murder, but say they found evidence suggesting otherwise.

KOMO News
Tessa M. Schuyleman, 22, has been booked into jail for investigation of rendering criminal assitance and obstructing a public officer.

Officials said Schuyleman is a close friend of Chris Wilson, who has been charged with murdering Cowell, and had pictures and video suggesting she was aware of the killing.

Police said Schuyleman claimed she had no knowledge regarding the murder, but say they found evidence suggesting otherwise.
Officers said they found several images on computers seized from Wilson’s apartment showing Schuyleman on the floor next a blood stain investigators found. They said she appeared to be posing as a dead person.
Lab results later confirmed that stain contained Mackenzie’s blood.
Investigators served a search warrant on Schuyleman’s cell phone in October and found two videos of interest.
The first recorded June 26th depicted Schuyleman entering Wilson’s apartment, moving aside a coffee table, and focusing the camera on the visible blood stain.
The second video taken four days later on June 30th, showed Wilson asking Schuyleman if the apartment was clean. Police said she replied “Considering what happen…ing?” Officers said Schuyleman again focused the camera on the location of the rug where investigators found the blood stain. They said the stain was only slightly discernable indicating it had been cleaned since the first video.
