Just a reminder that tommorow is National Missing Childrens Day.

“Take 25” for National Missing Children’s Day

May 25th has been observed as National Missing Children’s Day since it was first recognized in 1983. National Missing Children’s Day serves as an annual reminder that there are thousands of children who are still missing and stresses the importance of making child protection a national priority. The Take 25 campaign is a national child safety public awareness campaign created in 2007 by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The campaign encourages parents to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety and ways to prevent abduction. The campaign begins on May 1st and continues through May 25th every year in communities throughout the country.

Hard to believe an arrest hasn't been made in this case, really. Even if it's just for negelect or abandonment. I'm not quite sure what the problem would be with any defence lawyer seeing the evidence for possible future, more serious charges. I think a jury would come down on the side of reason and logic - they often do. An arrest might lead to Sky's location being revealed, at last. The prosecuter could offer a deal because anyone who would do anything to harm such a lovely little boy has to be mad, and he really needs to come home now. Babies aren't supposed to be 'out there', all alone. It's not right.

Maybe a braver DA is called for?

Awwww....thanks coeurfragile! That's sweet of you to think of us. Baby Rouge is due July 8th, so we've got about 5-6 weeks left. Everyone is feeling happy, healthy, and ready. I promise to post a pic once baby boy is here.

With so many older/cold cases being resolved lately and the missing being found after so long, it gives me hope for cases like Sky's. He's out there. It's taken far too long, but maybe we will find him someday. Justice is coming.

The mother referred to is Julia Biryukova. She's from the Ukraine. Here's a lovely pic of a boy standing beside the Ukraine's most famous monument, Mother Motherland. I don't think Sky will ever get the opportunity to visit his mom's native land now, and learn about part of his own heritage. What a pity for Sky, and for any of Sky's relatives there.

Its funny you should bring up an old article zwiebel...Ive been looking over some old info. myself,just trying to see if there was anything that I missed.

One thing rings loud and clear to me..after spending hours reading past articles..I have no doubt in my mind that Julia is responsibe for Skys disappearance.

Time and time again she has been asked to speak about the day Sky vanished..she wont (except in an email...wth?). Shes been asked to take a polygraph...she wont. She has no interest in taking part in the search for her son...or being present at his vigils. She has made no effort to address the media or plea for her sons return. Julia has had ample opportunity to at least "act" like a grieving mother...she hasnt. She hasnt,because she already knows where her son is. She is an awful person and a worse mother!!
She lost TWO children....and could give a rats @ss less about it!!

AND when she DID open her mouth back in Nov. 2011 THIS is the crap that spewwed out. Shes not concerned for Sky at all. Her only concern is to take the spotlight off of herself.
